Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist – Content Marketing, will draw on proven content writing experience to identify, create and distribute content through CDW marketing channels to incite action from stakeholders in long form blog posts, articles and ebooks as well as supporting copywriting across a variety of channels.

What you’ll do:

  • Write innovative and interesting copy for a variety of marketing programs and integrated campaigns including blog posts/articles, advertising, social media, email campaigns, web content, promotional materials, video scripts, mailers, catalogue, and more. This will be accomplished through participating in campaign strategy and planning sessions, interviewing stakeholders, independent research, working collaboratively with designers, marketing, product and partner management and other stakeholders to complete web, multimedia, and print projects as required.
  • Leverage SEO best practices while creating optimized copy for partner blogs, webpages, emails, and other marketing collateral supporting lead generation through multiple channels. This will be accomplished through reviewing, analyzing and adapting copy for search engine optimization, researching and identifying ranking keywords to drive valuable traffic, write powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors, working with internal SMEs and other stakeholders to build content and buyer persona awareness.
  • Review, proof, edit and adapt copy to ensure consistency and respect of brand and writing style guidelines. In collaboration with the corporate communications team, develop content strategies and disseminate consistent brand messaging through all partner campaigns and programs.
  • Provide marketing and communication support as required

Must-have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism or equivalent
  • 3+ years of Journalist, Copywriting, Marketing or Communications experience

Plan and prepare a variety of tactical communications materials to support paid, earned, and owned media for both corporate and study specific campaigns.

Graphic design, copywriting, photography, illustration, video, and audio production.
