This position involves collaborating closely with business leaders, contributing to the strategic vision of the Enterprise Architecture practice, and ensuring the alignment of technology initiatives with organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the strategic vision for the Enterprise Architecture practice under the guidance of leadership
- Expert level understanding of various components of the Salesforce product suite such as Sales Service, Experience, Community, Marketing and App Clouds Expertise
- Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce com platform
- Lead technical design sessions architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives identify gaps between client current and desired end states
- Manage the technical delivery of custom development integrations and data migration elements of a Salesforce com implementation
- Technical Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy for Salesforce platform encompassing architecture design development integration and maintenance
- Actively participate in the Architecture Review Board (ARB) to contribute to sound technology decisions and minimize technology debt
- Evaluate and rationalize the application portfolio, recommending retirements, consolidations, or replacements as needed
- Provide guidance on the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable, and maintainable technology architecture
- Contribute to producing target state solution architectures, conducting architectural assessments and gap analyses, and shaping the overall solution strategy and roadmap
- Partner with data architect(s) to support data management practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance
- Partner with integration architect(s) to support integration strategies ensuring seamless communication and data flow across various systems
- Work closely with solution architects to ensure that individual solutions align with the overall enterprise architecture
- Collaborate with business leaders to create business capability models that align technology capabilities with business needs
- Contribute to building a vibrant ‘learning community’ within the enterprise architecture discipline, fostering continuous improvement and consistently delivering value to various business units
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience of 5+ years as an Enterprise Architect, demonstrating a solid understanding of relevant areas
- Experience with planning and leading architecture delivery for large-scale business and systems transformation programs is a must
- Proven track record of successfully leading large scale Salesforce initiatives from concept to delivery
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture capabilities and ecosystem including Sales Cloud Service Cloud Marketing Cloud and Community Cloud
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect CTA Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect preferred
- Familiarity with TOGAF/EA methodologies, ITSM/ITIL process design, cloud strategy, Agile framework, and security frameworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills
- Previous roles with a focus on data architecture, application or solution architecture, integration, risk management, and technology standards
- Strong understanding of security architecture principles and practices
- Proven experience in business capability modelling and translating business needs into technology solutions
