Manager, Audience Strategy
(Bathurst & Lakeshore location)
As a Manager, Audience Strategy within the Enterprise Audience & Measurement Hub, you will be crucial in driving audience insights and strategies to optimize marketing campaigns and enhance customer experiences. You will be responsible for leading the use case intake and gathering for Loyalty and Loblaw Digital, providing consultation on audience and personalization strategy, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the success of audience strategies.
What You’ll do:
Lead the intake and gathering process for use cases related to Loyalty and Loblaw Digital, working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and objectives.
Provide education and guidance to Spoke teams on the CDP ID resolution results and C360 findings, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the audience insights and data available.
Provide education to Spoke teams on audience products and attributes available in the CDP in support of their use cases
Offer expert consultation on audience and personalization strategy to Loyalty and Loblaw Digital, helping them align their use cases with overall business goals and marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with the Audience Analysts to produce audiences and customer insights that support the use cases of Loyalty and Loblaw Digital, leveraging data sources from across the enterprise
Work with the Audience Analyst to perform customer journey analytics, tracking customer migration between segments, and presenting findings to Spoke teams, providing actionable insights for optimization.
Provide education and consultation on audience build in the customer data platform, to Loyalty and Loblaw Digital teams, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to leverage the platform effectively.
Collaborate with the measurement team to ensure that the segmentation strategy produces quantifiable outcomes, aligning audience strategies with measurement and reporting requirements.
Collect and document Spoke team’s user experience on the platform, gathering feedback, and providing insights to the Platform Owners to incorporate into Amperity’s roadmap for continuous improvement.
Lead audience strategy support for experimentation in A/B testing tool including – audience creation, audience transfer and audience analysis for the completed experiments
Collaborate with the Audience Analyst and Data Engineering team to produce audiences in our data warehouse and the A/B testing tool in support of experimentation on our own and operated properties.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes in the ad tech industry that could have an impact on the business
What You’ll Bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Mathematics, Engineering or Economics, with a sound understanding of data analytics
5+ years experience implementing customer segmentation strategies with a deep knowledge of segmentation principles, measurement methodologies and audience analysis
A strong understanding of digital marketing channels, how they work, how they can be integrated, and how to measure performance across those channels
Hands-on experience with web analytics platform (ex. Snowplow / Google Analytics) and media buying platforms (ex. Google, Meta, Pinterest, etc.) to create segments, push audiences live and prepare audience analysis
Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) and audience strategies is a plus.
Advanced ability to query transactional, loyalty & web analytics raw data using SQL is a must. Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery is a big plus!
Experience using R or Python to transform, process, and model data
Proven ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations, POV statements, strategic and operational recommendations to internal stakeholders
Exceptional organizational, problem solving and analysis skills combined with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate findings to all levels throughout the organization
Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently
Comfortable with ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities/needs
