What will you be doing as a Senior Product Designer?

  • You will participate and influence the design decisions for banking digital experiences that touch millions of our customers every day.
  • You will understand our customers motivations and needs, leveraging rigorous design research and usability principles along with your intuitive design sense.
  • You will consider customers interactions and journeys and act as an advocate for their constant improvement through accessible and inclusive design principles and implementation.
  • You will partner and collaborate with Product management, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, and other key players to envision and build products that make our customer’s experience useful, engaging, and effective while supporting our business goals.
  • You will support and communicate with your scrum team partners (product managers, engineers, business lines) through the conception, build and release of software features.
  • You will engage with developers, business, and quality assurance analysts to understand our platform’s capabilities, communicate design specifications, and verify implemented designs.
  • You will produce compelling visual deliverables to illustrate desired customer experiences and provide detailed specifications for software developers.
  • You will be an active participant in our design community by providing feedback to your fellow Designers.
  • You will practice empathy and the ability to actively listen and consider other people’s points of view.
  • You will be responsible for synthesizing research outcomes into viable product experiences by defining the scope and needs of customer testing, engaging help from our design research team and ensure that insights are reflected as part of your design work.

  • You will provide feedback and coaching to other Designers at different levels of experience.

  • You will drive Lean/agile UX approaches pervasively throughout the product lifecycle; helping designers to become the collaborative glue that facilitates decisions across the dimensions of value, usability, and feasibility.
  • You will partner and collaborate with key players across Scotia Digital including product management, engineering, analytics, as well as within the Design Community of Practice (Marketing, Research, Accessibility, Content, Service Design) to ensure that the group is aligned and engaged to deliver results supporting our business goals.
  • You will demonstrate leadership on supporting and communicating with your partners and executives frequently and efficiently.

These are the skills and competencies that you will need:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in Design, Humanities, Systems engineering or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
  • Ability to communicate concepts, ideas and strategies using rapid visual design techniques.
  • Ability to work within the constraints of a Design System with flexibility, and a desire to push existing standards to the next level by contributing back to our Design System library.
  • A positive and resilient personality with a growth mentality. You must be able to embrace feedback and have a desire for continuous improvement.
  • A demonstrable history of applying design thinking tenets and user centered design principles to design problems.
  • A portfolio of work (professional and/or personal) which presents the story of projects you have worked on, your role, and examples of your problem-solving methods from low-fidelity sketches to detailed designs.
  • We are looking for a fast learner who has an appetite to uncover what’s behind both, simple and complex financial solutions.
  • Expertise in the use of digital design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch and/or Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Axure, Proto.io, etc.
  • Expert understanding of Human-centred Design practices, including Design thinking methodologies, research, and user testing protocols, as well as Agile frameworks.
  • Ability to plot and map a user journey from product discovery through enrollment, down multiple engagement routes and through to journey completion.
  • 5+ years of professional experience designing responsive web and/or native mobile software applications.
  • A high level of technical acuity with a thorough understanding of front-end technologies and will factor it into your work limitations and constraints knowing when to push boundaries.

Interests and skills that will improve your chances of working with us

  • Studies and/or experience in complementary fields to Product Design, like visual design, animation, research, data analysis, applied arts, writing and communications, etc.
  • Experience or background in FinTechs or other financial related product fields.

The Humberview Group is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Mississauga-based digital marketing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketer who wants to continue developing in the Digital Marketing field. Job Duties

  • Monthly digital marketing strategy planning and execution;

  • SEO: content marketing; on-site, off-site and local search optimization;
  • Website structure planning; content publishing and optimization;
  • Paid advertising: launching and optimizing Facebook, Google and Bing Ads campaigns;
  • On-site issues tracking, bug reporting, collaboration with website support team;
  • Reporting and analytics.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience and clear understanding of on-site, off-site, technical SEO and performance optimization techniques;
  • Strong familiarity with SEO software (SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, etc.) and marketing and reporting platforms (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google My Business, Google Data Studio);
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare and present monthly reports;
  • Experience with landing page creation and optimization for organic and paid traffic;
  • Experience installing pixels and tags, setting up and configuring GA, GTM, Facebook Ads accounts;
  • Analytical mindset;
  • Responsible, punctual and accurate;
  • A team player who can build collaborative relationships and bring new ideas to the table.

Assets:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
  • Previous experience or passion for the automotive industry;

POSITION SUMMARY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing, managing and designing layouts of communications such as presentations, event support materials, research papers, and brochures.
  • Planning, development and execution of national digital programs and campaigns, including online advertising, web site strategy and design, social media, mobile, and deliverables.
  • Interfacing with the Sales team to launch PR campaingns, events, retail and business products.
  • Leading ongoing management of digital touch points, including Axisautofinance.com (home page and top-level sections), social networking landing pages, and mobile application.
  • Managing digital agency relationships, day-to-day production, as well as campaign budgets and schedules.
  • Owning and maintaining site analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting.
  • In depth knowledge of SEO and adwords programs.
  • Presenting recommendations to management for Marketing and Communications.
  • Developing and coordinating multimedia packages

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphics related field.
  • 2 years of experience in digital marketing within the automotive or fintech industry.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and digital production.
  • Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns.
  • Proven experience delivering a variety of digital assets, including rich media online ads, micro sites, and social media applications.
