#LIS#The Specialist Associate, Channel Marketing promotes the Canon brand in-store and online by leading marketing initiatives for our B2B and B2C line-up of products and services through Canon’s network of national and independent dealers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of in-store displays, packaging, sales tools, and promotional materials.
  • Adapt and manage rich product content for Canon Canada’s dealers and e-commerce platforms.
  • Coordinate 3rd party store visits and maintain the Canon HQ showroom for product launches and promotions (print and digital).
  • Respond to dealer requests to ensure timely merchandising and brand consistency in-store and online.
  • Execute product launch activities, including content creation, asset uploads, and communications.
  • Maintain marketing materials in the asset repository and track expenses related to in-store and digital programs.

To Succeed, You will need:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or Advertising
  • A minimum of 3 years of in-store marketing and/or packaging and design experience
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills are needed to handle requests from Sales, Marketing, and dealers promptly.
  • Strong technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong project and process management skills are needed to plan steps, meet deadlines, and prepare stores for promotions.
  • Experience with S21, Oracle, and SharePoint
  • Able to analyze in-store marketing issues and support dealers with practical, budget-friendly solutions.

  • Developing customer experience plans for Perks programs in collaboration with Sales, Service, Marketing and Business Planning.
  • Focusing on action items such as program positioning, in-field tools, promotional programs, and offers.
  • Promoting the Corporate Partner program to targeted customers using SalesForce and attending customer meetings.
  • Facilitating sign-ups for existing Canon customers and coordinating corporate account creations.
  • Training new program partners on Canon’s Corporate Partner Program and assisting with individual employee account creations.
  • Recommending and receiving high-impact Corporate Partner Program communication materials and delivering them to potential and existing program partners
  • Monitor Corporate Partner Program sales data, customer data (including trends), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and gather market intelligence for program improvements.
  • Provide input to management regarding KPIs’ development, monitor those KPIs, and prepare reports relating to DSD Customer Experience Programs.

To Succeed, You Will Need:

  • Post-secondary education in Business or related fields.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the sales or marketing department is required.
  • Ability to use analytical skills to interpret customer data.
