Job description: Summary/About the opportunity:As a Web Optimization Intern, you will play a crucial role in analyzing user behavior, optimizing website performance, and driving data-informed decisions. This internship offers hands-on experience in leveraging web analytics tools and conducting experiments to enhance user experience and achieve business objectives.Primary Responsibilities/ What you’ll get to do:
- Utilize web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, Conductor) to track and analyze user interactions, website traffic, and conversion funnels.
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments to optimize website elements, such as layout, content, and functionality.
- Extract actionable insights from data analysis and experimentation results to inform decision-making processes for website optimization and marketing strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate key performance metrics, trends, and insights to stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and UX/UI design to align web optimization efforts with business goals.
Qualifications/Skills and experience we value:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Web Analytics, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Knowledge of experimental design principles and experience with A/B testing methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively.
