Publicis Emil Toronto is currently seeking a Digital Project Manager, Email Specialist. The role is responsible for the end-to-end project management of email campaigns. From time to time, you may also be responsible for managing other types of projects including advertising campaigns, creative concepts, social and/or mobile platform campaigns and CRM initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 6 years + CRM/ Digital project management or production experience in an interactive or

integrated agency or similar environment

  • Should have experience with Sales Force and be familiar with the platform and its capabilities.
  • Can show experience in bottom-up scoping of projects, creating project budgets, tracking actuals, and creating statements of work
  • Stays abreast of new trends in advertising, particularly in technology
  • Demonstrates an ability to solve problems with the solution that works for all stakeholders without compromising the quality of the deliverables or the project
  • Solid understanding of production and the creative development process, experience design, technology, quality assurance testing and marketing methodologies

  • Schedule & coordinate brainstorming meetings with internal staff and external agency to help establish content ideas

  • Help coordinate a guest blogger programme
  • Help to amplify this content through other social media channels
  • Drive awareness of our new blog posts by posting the articles into forums and groups

  • Research free online directories to generate inbound links
  • Using Google business platforms, search for popular keywords & trending topics to be utilized in social media & blog content

3) Email Marketing

  • Work with internal team to create and send 1-3 email broadcasts per month to members & general subscribers
  • Utilize MailChimp to design & program new emails

Key Skills:

  • Ideally currently enrolled in a social media, digital media, marketing, communications, or similar program at university
  • A keen interest in social justice, anti-violence, and other adjacent topics
  • Proven written & verbal communication skills, and a passion for writing both short- and long-copy
  • Familiarity with key social media platforms
  • Familiarity with HootSuite (or another social scheduling platform)
  • Familiarity with Canva (or another design platform/software)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn
  • An understanding of the type of tone and nuanced voice required to effectively communicate sensitive topics such as domestic violence, gendered violence, assault, and more
  • A youthful and modern understanding of using social media as a way to grow a community of followers

What will your typical day look like?

As a Digital Marketing Specialist within Deloitte’s Digital Marketing team, you’ll work closely with other developers and marketers in support of Deloitte Canada’s businesses, with a focus on Ecosystems & Alliances.   • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or undergraduate studies in programming, or equivalent experience, working within agency environment an asset
  • Solid understanding of UX design, working with brand guidelines, layout and design standards
  • Strong communicator and problem solver who is organized and can provide digital strategy consulting and best practices to a business audience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
