  • Provides day-to-day management of the Panasonic D2C ecommerce site including the development and management of a quarterly tactical pricing and promotional calendar with acquisition and engagement programs designed to achieve/exceed established PCI eCommerce objectives.
  • Manages promo calendar complexities including targeted activity for each of PCI’s 8 customer segments and the sensitives of possible channel conflict across all national, regional and independent dealers in collaboration with sales and product teams.
  • Creates, maintains and manages ecommerce ‘playbooks and best practices documentation relevant to the unique operational and support requirements of ecommerce and D2C channels.
  • Monitors and recommends actions for eCommerce site traffic and engagement, email campaign results and promotional program activities within a defined dashboard of direct channel analytics.
  • Measures and analyzes the performance of key tactical programs, reporting on campaign results and website metrics to identify successes and improvements and recommend/execute new traffic and organic growth opportunities.
  • Leads dashboarding, data and analytics development and analysis for PCI’s D2C ecommerce. Generates market, consumer and shopper insights. Leverages and shares insights across product management, sales and eCommerce teams.
  • Leads, Creates and executes high volumes of promotional and content engagement email campaigns to drive PCI’s owned ecommerce traffic and sales in collaboration with the content marketing specialist.
  • Manages and executes digital ecommerce advertising campaigns on Google Marketplace to grow digital audience, deliver campaign ROI and increase channel revenue and margin.
  • Leads the digital shelf merchandising for PCI’s owned ecommerce platform and all partner D2C and eCommerce sites. Leads cross functional stakeholder groups to continually improve visibility and tracking of ecommerce business POS and channel insights to inform business decisions. Manages PCI owned ecommerce site product forecasting across all product categories.
  • Leads the execution and management of tools and technology enablers to enhance the online customer experience, identifying new ecommerce growth, functionality development and digital experience opportunities to increase D2C ecommerce business. Establishes the roadmap and delivery of the omni-channel customer journey.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Community College Diploma, or equivalent relevant experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, shopper marketing, CRM or related discipline. 3-4 years related experience.
  • Requires a solid understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital merchandising. Experience with Adobe Commerce.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Google Analytics and very good experience with email marketing and deployment systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred) and online CMS (content management systems).
  • Enhance working proficiency in Visio or similar process flow software beneficial. Knowledge and experience working with SAP and design software, such as the Adobe suite of products, would be an asset.
  • Requires a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Problem solving required for analysis of website traffic and shopper analytics, competitive activity, marketing and sales program results to develop eCommerce strategies.
  • Manages time and resources effectively to meet project deliverables. Utilizes digital tools to research competitive information.

Handles special customer requests regarding product orders, back-order information and delivery schedules.
  • Orders received via phone, fax, email, EDI, or dropped off by the Sales Managers. Ensures appropriate customer order data relating to account information, item/quantities, distribution methods, payment modes and other delivery terms is entered to SAP.
  • Runs reports to verify data entered and follows up with dealers, management, finance or other internal contacts to correct any customer order issues. Provides customer service support to all CDSD product groups in regard to all order related topics/issues.
  • Account Support:
  • Tracks order status, monitors stock and replenishment levels. Maintains and regularly updates Access database with pertinent details. Coordinates with Service and/or Quality Assurance team to ensure all items available for conversion.
  • Advises Dealers of any availability issues. Processes return authorizations in cooperation with the Service Department and Warranty product orders.
  • Invoice Maintenance:
  • Investigates any dealer invoicing problems relating to pricing errors, price protection, dealer rebates, spiffs, special pricing claims, short shipments, freight claims. Corrects any discrepancies in accordance with PCI pricing policies and procedures. Maintains and monitors account credit/debit charges relating to accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Enters pertinent account adjustments, including explanation of credit/debit request to facilitate approval by accounting.
  • Creates appropriate documentation and maintains log of all credit/debit transactions for future verification and audit requirements.
  • Sales Support:
  • Acts as inside support for a variety of internal contacts such as account managers, marketing, demand planning, distribution and finance staff. Supports internal account managers with enquiries by providing current and detailed customer information.
  • Sources customer information details relating to account status, distribution status and any other sales related issues.
  • Updates customer master files provides back order reports by customer (weekly and/or monthly) and other ad hoc reports to key account managers to facilitate Account Manager’s forecasting requirements.
  • Follows up on any discrepancies relating to account inventory levels. Follows up with factory and parts groups relating to inventory levels and discontinued items. Supports Manager in preparation of inventory data for monthly forecasting and reporting purposes.
  • Provides backup for other administration order desks for vacation purposes. Maintains and updates filing of records on daily basis.

Qualifications:

  • High School education – 2 years related experience. Knowledge of computer hardware configuration.
  • Intermediate knowledge using Microsoft Office software- specifically Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, Windows & EDI. Working knowledge of order processing using SAP.
  • Requires analytical thinking to identify and resolve customer complaints. Routinely identifies potential solutions from an existing list of alternatives e.g. assist customers in finding supplies, locating dealers and correctly routing calls for other Panasonic product by asking questions.
  • Requires intermediate level of product knowledge and applications to assist customers with parts and accessory order placement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required. Communicates to a variety of internal and external contacts to meet customer demands (e.g. account managers, marketing managers, demand planners, warehouse staff, accounting, credit, customer buyer contacts).
  • Majority of the communication requires courteous and timely sharing of customer information – ability to tactfully explain backorder situations and delivery priorities is essential. Liaise with the Credit department in clearing dealer outstanding credit issues on a weekly basis.

  • Establishes and maintains training calendar. Manages and directs the development of technical call center training initiatives for new products. Through staff ensures technical product training of Customer Care staff is adequate, timely, and ensures quality support for digital products.
  • Schedules and re-assigns work performed by direct reports. Coaches, mentors, trains, and cross trains staff. Participates in staff actions such as promotion, hire, dismissal, performance appraisal, and transfer.
  • Resolves staff grievances. Ensures corporate employment equity objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • College or University Degree – 3 or 4 Year Bachelor Level Certificate or acceptable equivalent, with 7 to 10 years progressive work experience ideally with the electronics industry.
  • Supervisory or management experience required.
  • Technical experience in HVAC category as a technician, engineer, or quality assurance specialist.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Publisher.
  • Strong data analytical skills and previous experience with data analytics tools like PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
  • Requires routine collection and transmittal of technical information on a frequent basis.
  • Regular requirement to collect limited information from a variety of sources; selecting a solution from sometimes unclear list of alternatives. Requires investigation, and collection of technical assurance problems to relate back to Panasonic factories and requires appropriate solutions.
  • Manages multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
  • Ensures Canadian marketplace considerations are addressed functional areas such as Domains, factories and US partners to ensure complex product quality and service issues are resolved.
  • High degree of information sharing required when providing training. Effective rapport building capabilities required in managing staff, establishing effective training environment of staff and external contacts.
  • Must present information in a clear and concise manner allowing for open exchange of new learning.
  • Communicates with non-domestic factories with a sensitivity for cross cultural differences.
  • Influences third party servicers and factories in the correction and repair of product quality issues.

  • Knowledge of the Canadian HVAC market and regulatory requirements is an asset.

Job description: Overview:Panasonic Canada Inc. is currently looking to hire for the position of TECHNICAL ANALYST II.Installs, and upgrades, system security, provides subject matter expertise for change management, client methodology, interface technologies, backups and performance tuning for SAP. Develops strategies and procedures to ensure the integrity of the test and production SAP and AS400 environments. Provides database administration support to the SAP systems. Supports implementation of SAP patches and upgrades as required. SAP S4 HANA System Administration and HANA performance tuning, HANA Revision upgrade, HANA backups and refreshes, HANA failover and disaster recovery.This is a full-time position.This position is hybrid. Any office-based work will be performed from our Mississauga office at Ambler Drive. Responsibilities:

  • SAP patch management – Kernel for OS/400, W2K and Unix – Support package for S4HANA, R/3 APO and BW – GUI upgrades for S4HANA, R/3, APO and BW – Downloads patches and upgrades as required from SAP. Determines the impact of the patch, discuss the impact with the relevant parties. Applies the patch to the test environment, and advise Business Engineering to conduct testing, and schedule production implementation.
  • Monitors performance for S4HANA, OS400, W2K, Unix and SAP platforms and applications. Ensures that all platforms, operating systems and applications are running a appropriate service levels. Reviews service levels on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
  • SAP R/3, S4HANA and AS400 system security and user administration. Provides authorized access to users based on required approvals. Monitors user access, and review annually with management as required.
  • SAP R/3, S4HANA and AS400 release and change management – Organizes the release of program and application upgrades, ensures that they are properly tested and approved for release. Schedules release into production.
  • Provides support of production department duties in the event of absence of team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business or a related field.
  • Five plus years of experience supporting SAP S4 HANA, ECC, BW and IBP. In-depth experience of SAP architecture, technical administration and troubleshooting.
  • An understanding of accelerated SAP roadmap, and experience with SAP architecture on OS platforms such as Windows and Linux. Strong knowledge of AS400 operating system. Knowledge of client network environment. S4HANA Administration, performance tuning, HANA revision upgrade, HANA backups, HANA failover and failback, HANA system copy and S4HANA migration to cloud.
  • Emphasis on significant, with some routine and complex problem solving. Problem solving involves the ability to trouble shoot LAN/WAN microcomputer and end user technical problems related to Windows, Linux, SAP and other applications.
  • Ability to multitask and provide process improvements towards improved business requirements.
  • Ability to be a team player and collaborate with other tower resources towards business deliverables.
  • The majority of the time is spent giving and receiving factual information.
