Rogers Sports & Media is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to join our growing TSC Marketing Team. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for driving new customer acquisition and all paid marketing performance. He/she/they will do so by 1) leading the strategy & execution of TSC Performance and Digital Marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Senior Brand Manager, 2) driving thought leadership and strategic plans to evolve with emerging trends in digital and e-commerce marketing, 3) managing all key campaign stakeholders, including Media agency partners, Creative, Digital, Finance, Merchandising and Data teams.


What you will do…

  • Lead development and execution of digital & performance marketing strategies for always-on and seasonal campaigns
  • Support Brand Marketing briefs with performance and digital marketing expertise and industry knowledge
  • Execute paid digital campaigns with excellence to achieve all marketing, financial and customer targets
  • Lead strategic development and execution of Affiliate Marketing plan, including forecasts, growth strategies and management of key Affiliate partners
  • Own the ongoing reporting, review and optimization of all paid digital and Affiliate campaigns to key business stakeholders
  • Drive thought leadership and strategic plans to evolve with emerging trends in the digital and ecommerce landscape (e.g. 3rd party cookie loss).
  • Develop strategic targeting and retargeting audiences and lead implementation of Martech in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Recommend and activate against strategic test and learns in line with emerging trends
  • Manage internal and external partners, including cross functional teams and partners
  • Manage the TSC marketing budget in collaboration with Finance
  • Manage the Digital Marketing Specialist and provide development opportunities for career growth
  • Develop relationships in order to drive cross-functional alignment

Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work under the mentorship of a senior staff member as part of a multidisciplinary team. Online Listing Management

Sales & Marketing Manager

This role is a contract position for 13-15 months beginning in November 2021.

The Sales & Marketing Manager position reports to the CEO and is the key role on our small and important marketing team. Qualifications and Attributes:

  • University or College degree in business, marketing, or communications
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a hospitality or service industry

Our client, a boutique media agency with offices downtown requires a Hybrid Communications Coordinator to join their team. It is an entry level role that will assist in a variety of tasks to support the strategic planning and execution of digital media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and Execution
  • Understanding of various tactics at a high level. The ability to track the details of the tactics; costs, audiences, KPI’s, trafficking, etc (building a keen proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Track, send and sign insertion orders (IO’s)
  • Create Spec Sheets (DMR) for Clients and Creative Agencies
  • Assist with Campaign trafficking working with our internal ad operations team and with offline media vendors
  • Developing hands-on working knowledge of various advertising technology platforms (ie: Google, Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Campaign Manager, etc), including working towards certification in the required platforms
  • Learn all of the key aspects and processes to build out a digital plan
  • Reporting
  • Understand the reporting frequency for each client and LOB (Line of Business). Pull reports or look at performance in platforms based on the established cadence. Analyze and make optimization recommendations where appropriate.
  • Ensuring that campaign details are accurately input/ordered (rates, budgets, start/end dates, etc.) per plan/booking details
  • Collecting and issuing campaign screen grabs at launch
  • Generating and issuing client reports, inclusive of, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Effectively communicating areas of concerns or success from reporting analysis
  • Account Maintenance
  • Understand and aid in the client billing process thoroughly
  • Develop a proficiency in Media Ocean to ensure smooth financial billing, discrepancy clearing and reporting
  • Liaise with team at large on Invoice Summaries and Budget Control Reports
  • Check Vendor Contracts against booking
  • Check Vendor Invoices for media approval
  • Accuracy and Organization
  • Ensure the highest level of accuracy by always double-checking work including but not limited to; excel formulas, number transcription, report pulls, etc.
  • All files should be kept organized and saved the designated shared space
  • Status documents should be updated regularly and prior to status meetings
  • Develop a proficiency in the project management tools utilized
  • Deadlines
  • Keep track of timelines and deadlines for assigned work
  • Check with your Manager/Director daily to ensure that no last-minute client asks have arisen.
  • offer your assistance to team members that have a heavy workload.
  • All deadlines should be adhered to. Any challenges should be communicated to the account lead as soon as possible.
  • Communication
  • Keep team informed by ensuring they are copied on all correspondence affecting the client
  • Constant excellence in communication via emails, presentations as well as oral and written.
  • Communication should be articulate and professional in nature, especially with suppliers, partners and clients.
  • Efforts should be made to ask questions during supplier meetings and build presentation skills in preparation for advancement and potential client presentations.
  • Build your breadth of knowledge of our industry & training
  • Embrace all opportunities to learn either from supplier presentations or internal education forums
  • Review common industry terms via the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) or CMDC Digest available on our shared drive or via the internet
  • Attend industry updates
  • Sign up for courses that will enhance your industry expertise.
  • Meet with sales representatives to ensure we are well informed on all developments in the industry
  • Build our reputation outside of the agency
  • Be responsive to email/phone requests for meetings, always reply within 24 hours
  • Give fair and timely feedback to proposals
  • Be open to new ideas and suppliers
  • Present yourself in a professional manner at all business/ industry meetings, events, forums, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This entry level role is best suited to a recent digital marketing/media advertising graduate with a great attitude, collaborative spirit and excellent technical skills.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital & Direct Marketing Coordinator located in our corporate office in Burlington, Ontario. The Digital & Direct Marketing Coordinator supports the Digital & Direct Marketing Manager in day to day coordination of digital and direct mail marketing initiatives. Primary areas of responsibility include assisting with digital & direct marketing communications in addition to supporting all aspects of the DQ Mobile App and Loyalty Reward Program, in addition to assisting in the development of annual store grand opening programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization, communication, analytical, and project management skills. They will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where they will be required to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and accomplish these tasks with high level of detail and accuracy.

Key Accountabilities Include:


Digital Marketing

  • Support Digital & Direct Marketing Manager to ensure flawless execution of all digital campaigns and programs
  • Play a supporting role on Mobile App & Loyalty Program goals, including acquisition, development, and retention
  • Monitor and analyze mobile app deals and reward redemption data and make recommendations based on performance
  • Stay current on all digital trends and monitor the competitive landscape to determine opportunities to optimize and test new features/initiatives
  • Contribute to program retrospectives, pulling and analyzing data and building franchisee facing presentations
  • Coordinate the tactical elements of all deals, rewards and events related to the mobile app & loyalty program

Direct Marketing

  • Support Digital & Direct Marketing Manager to ensure flawless execution of all direct mail campaigns
  • Stay current on trends and monitor the competitive landscape to determine opportunities to optimize and test new offers, formats and messaging
  • Contribute to program retrospectives, pulling and analyzing data, and building franchisee facing presentations
  • Coordinate the tactical elements and tasks related to the campaign, working with cross functional team and agency partners

Administrative Support

  • Attend meetings and capture key decisions and follow ups
  • Track and document daily app account registrations & deal redemptions
  • Support with invoicing and other administrative tasks as requested including managing digital BCR
  • Provide status updates/reports/data where applicable

Required Skills

  • Creative thinker with the potential to develop marketing-related innovative ideas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of Asana and Azure Dev-ops an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously, within an intense, deadline-driven environment.

Required Experience

  • Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
