The Full Stack Developer will collaborate with a cross functional team of designers, developers, digital marketers and product owners to develop highly performing and scalable solutions for our corporate web applications. They will need strong skills in modern web development technologies in order to handle a variety of projects through all stages of the software development life cycle. The Full Stack Developer will also be expected to contribute ideas and solutions in a creative agile team environment, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers and marketing to develop high-quality, scalable, and secure features for our corporate websites using the Sitefinity (.NET-based) Content Management System
Create new UI features in Angular and/or .NET based on design requirements
Implement custom modules, calculators and reusable UI and MVC components based on business requirements
Help extend website functionality through the creation and maintenance of APIs and Microservices
Implement Google Analytics tracking for new features
Develop unit tests, extend and enhance existing automated testing frameworks
Participate in code reviews,
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following industry best practices.
Exposure to the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, development, testing, deployment and release activities
Conduct research and proof of concepts for new features and processes
Participate in all scrum activities and be an active contributor to the team
Qualifications:
Degree, diploma or equivalent directly related work experience.
Software engineering background
Preferred technical stack:
Front-end: HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular
Back-end: C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core
Content Management System: Sitefinity, WordPress
Database: MS SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB or similar SQL and NoSQL Databases
Tools: Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, Robot, preferably automated CI/CD
Strong experience creating REST APIs
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform is a plus

Questrade’s Marketing team is looking for a Digital Analytics Specialist, who will understand and leverage user behaviour to optimize site performance and analyze website and landing page data, usability and performance, provide insights and recommendation to improve the site conversion rate. The Specialist will develop, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate testing scenarios for landing pages and popular content pages on Questrade.com and recommend actions to maximize conversions and lead acquisition efforts from paid and earned media channels.

Working closely with other digital channel leads, this role will develop and recommended strategy and lead the execution of testing and optimization plans. You will identify opportunities for testing and optimization, with the objective of improving acquisition performance on Questrade.com. In this role, you will conduct UX and Conversion Optimization audits for websites and leverage digital analytics tools and testing tools to deliver relevant, actionable, and insightful recommendations to shape future site development and to inform digital marketing strategies. Tools include, but are not limited to: Google Analytics 360, Google Optimize, and ClickTale/Contentsquare. You will collaborate with traffic generation teams to optimize each conversion path. You will use qualitative and quantitative data to develop and execute a conversion rate optimization strategy and testing plan. You will partner closely with product design, content, social media and paid media teams to test and improve content, creative, copy and audience targeting to ensure campaign optimization.
You will analyze and present testing results in an engaging way with actionable recommendations that can be applied to continuously improve the user experience and site performance. You will lead the action plan; organize and prioritize the work for implementing recommended solutions – collaborating and coordinating with cross-functional partners to deliver on the plan. You will monitor, analyze and report on outcomes of improvements and progress against KPIs. You will maintain a strong understanding of Questrade’s service offering, the relationships with vendors, existing business models and the flows of data in the business.

✔ You have at least 3 years’ enterprise web analytics experience
✔ You have the ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions about site optimization
✔ You have strong understanding of analytics with hands on experience in Google Analytics
✔ You have experience with web testing platforms (Google Optimize preferred), heatmapping, and session replay tools
✔ You have a willingness to seek continuous improvement and make tradeoff decisions between speed to execution and quality
✔ You take ownership of tasks and drive projects through to completion
✔ You are a reliable self-starter with attention to detail and passion for quality
✔ You have strong interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making skills
✔ You are able to work under pressure while managing workloads effectively
✔ You have a willingness to multi-task and to be flexible to take on varied responsibilities

In this role, you will perform market research and competitor research to identify marketing communications opportunities and threats. You will synthesize consumer insights, market trends (global and local), and competitive landscape to drive marketing decisions. You will develop integrated marketing communications plans to promote Questrade’s products and services. You will provide hands-on, end-to-end management of campaigns and programs including conception and drafting of creative briefs, planning, execution, monitoring and reporting. You will work closely with our creative and media agency to develop compelling, contextual, and relatable marketing concepts that truly resonate and drive customer behaviour. You will develop clear master messaging for marketing plans and campaigns, and oversee implementation and adherence to the message in all respective channels. You will work cross functionally to develop and execute all marketing and communications plans that are integrated consistently across all communications channels including mass media, digital and social media, website and PR. You will work with the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications to develop annual and quarterly marketing communications plans. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to gain buy-in on the go-to-market strategies and plans. You will establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. You will challenge the status quo to drive purposeful programs that resonate with consumers.
