This includes identifying the global addressable markets, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, leading a seamless development process across stakeholders, designing compelling pricing, packaging, and distribution strategies, and working closely with technology, marketing, legal and sales teams in execution and delivery. TMX Datalinx Product Managers have revenue responsibility for the products in their portfolio.Summary:The student intern will work closely with the Corporate, Reference and Valuations data team and assist with data analysis, data quality control & monitoring, market research, and building go to market strategies!Key Accountabilities:Data trend analysis and extracting insights from large data setsStructure monthly/quarterly summary information sheetsIntegration of disparate data sourcesMarket and industry research to identify target marketsMust haves:Currently working towards an undergraduate degree in a quantitative or technology focused field such as Computer Science, Engineering or Business with a joint degree/minor in a quantitative/analytical subject areaExperience writing queries in SQL, Python and SparkAn excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, analytical and research skillA self-starter who is hardworking, flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a dedicated teamNice to haves:Any experience with capital markets so there is a baseline understanding of products would be welcomed.
