  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with Electrical, Mechanical, and Communications contractors across Eastern Canada and the Atlantic provinces.

  • Provide support to local electrical distributor channels to promote and sell Secure Power products.
  • Participate in design-build and construction tenders, working closely with the customer base to secure contracts.
  • Understand the technical and commercial applications of Secure Power products and effectively communicate their value to potential clients.
  • Execute the overall sales strategy for the Secure Power Division in Eastern Canada.

Who will you report to?The position reports to the Central/Eastern Sales Manager, for the Secure Power division of Schneider Electric and will be part of the Eastern Systems Sales team.What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • University degree or college diploma (preferably in engineering or technical but not essential depending on experience)
  • 5+ years relevant experience as an individual contributor focused on selling of a variety of products, services (including software) and/or solutions to end customer as well via intermediaries such as distributors and resellers (i.e. channels)
  • Ability to work independently outside of the office (remote working) and manage a geographically dispersed customer base
  • Self-starter with strong business and financial acumen and understanding of channel business models
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to Industry and C-Suite audiences
  • Functional knowledge of English and French is required. Must be able to work with stakeholders located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally.
