Job Description


Role Overview:

  • Activate and manage active SEM campaigns

  • Build new campaigns, ads, and keywords based on client briefs

  • Provide recommendations for new campaigns including tactics, spend and performance estimates etc.

  • Perform optimizations based on insights from Search data

  • Complete client reports with help from SEM Coordinators

  • Supervise small group of SEM Coordinators and Specialists

Key Responsibility:

  • Optimize budget pacing, bids and bidding strategies, ads and more

  • Pull data from multiple systems to create PowerPoint and Excel reports

  • Identify opportunities or insights during ongoing accounts from Engine systems and reports

  • Create and update keywords lists, ad copy, landing pages, and ad extensions

Qualifications

About The Job:

We are on the hunt for a seasoned SEM / PPC Specialist to add to our close-knit team. Candidates should have 3-5 years of professional experience managing successful Search Engine Marketing campaigns. We will be looking for some show & tell where you dazzle us with campaigns that you have created and executed, with some impressive results to back it up. We are also looking for people who can track these campaigns in Google Analytics, or other analytics tools. Our SEM Specialist will be an integrated member of the media team, responsible for facilitating the strategy, implementation, optimization and reporting for client’s SEM initiatives. You will leverage your expert knowledge of SEM to maximize campaign efficiency, keep budgets on track, and translate disparate data sets into actionable insights.


Responsibilities:

  • Planning and successful implementation of paid search campaigns
  • Manage budgets and bids for multiple ad serving platforms including Google AdWords, Display Network, Bing Ads, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
  • Improve paid search performance using industry best practices within established revenue
  • Keyword research (discovery and expansion)
  • Review and editing of ad creative/copy in collaboration with copywriter
  • Conducting, measuring, and implementing the results of A/B tests for ad copy and targeting
  • Create, coordinate, and QA all aspects of client tracking codes on site
  • Review and analysis of website performance metrics to instruct the direction of ongoing optimizations
  • Performing traffic analysis in Google Analytics related to paid digital traffic and other sources / mediums
  • Data compilation and creation of detailed campaign monthly performance and trend reports with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Assist with campaign strategy development, including proposal development
  • Provide mentorship and oversee the work of Junior SEM team members


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing paid digital campaigns (or equivalent experience)
  • Possess AdWords certification
  • Bachelor’s degree – marketing or related field preferred
  • In depth knowledge of search marketing landscape, online marketing tactics and emerging trends
  • Meticulous attention to detail, top-notch analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Adept problem-solver and adaptive personality – willing and able to learn new technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid data analysis experience and familiarity with various reporting software
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to operate with poise under pressure

Moncel is currently hiring for a Marketing Specialist for Search Engine Marketing (SEM) & Analytics. This is a high-impact role and will be a crucial component of the Moncel marketing team.

Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is results-oriented and data-driven with demonstrated experience managing multiple paid advertising campaigns. You are also highly analytical and consider A/B testing, optimizing customer acquisition costs, and analyzing performance metrics among your core competencies. You use data to develop insights, run experiments, and guide decision-making to improve the overall performance of the business.

Role Specifics

  • Manage all PPC and paid campaigns (Google, Bing, Facebook, etc.) and adjust strategies to maximize ROI
  • Optimize PPC campaign performance through A/B testing, competitor analysis and keyword research
  • Monitor campaigns for performance to ensure they are performing optimally and troubleshoot when required
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
  • Research, develop and implement strategies to improve SERP rankings
  • Work with the content and development teams to implement SEM strategies and best practices
  • Assist in the development of marketing measurement frameworks and the collection of data
  • Monitor and maintain marketing data collection systems
  • Create performance reports on marketing relevant metrics and insights
  • Remain current with the latest SEM trends, algorithm updates and SEM best practices


Criteria

  • Minimum of 3 years professional work experience in PPC
  • Minimum of 3 years experience providing data analysis and reporting
  • General understanding of how marketing channels work, how they can be tracked and evaluated on performance
  • Experience with a variety of marketing and other analytics tools
  • The aptitude to learn new tools and systems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Proven ability to work independently with great decision making and problem solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Mathematics/Statistics preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
