Core Responsibilities:

As the Copywriter /Social Media Coordinator at Spark Growth you are responsible for supporting our social team in creating content across all digital platforms that align with our digital strategy, drives to clear KPIs, and helps clients achieve their business goals. You’ll also be encouraged to pursue a creative development path, proactively infusing creative strategy into ongoing accounts and new business opportunities.

The role offers a significant training and learning component to be able to complete the tasks. You will also have on-the-job support, such as mentoring and coaching.

Strategy and Execution

  • Write copy for social media posting plans, online advertising (social, SEM, native, etc.), long-form (blog) content, and website and landing page copy
  • Stay on top of scheduling posts and receiving content for upcoming posts, live-posting them when necessary (occasionally outside of regular work hours)
  • Daily tracking and reporting in spreadsheets on accounts to engage with
  • Review monthly analytics reporting and social listening intelligence to implement data-backed learnings when drafting copy for clients
  • Contribute to client creative briefs and client strategies based on your deep understanding of online content best practices and performance
  • Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute to activation ideation
  • Develop response matrices for relevant clients, and complete community management and proactive outreach tasks across social platforms in accordance with client scopes

New Business Development

  • Research, copy edit and contribute creative ideation to new business proposals
  • Research and identify marketing opportunities for the social media practice, including media interviews and speaking opportunities

Position Overview
:

The CRM team is seeking a dynamic, innovative Email Marketing Associate to develop, implement and measure the effectiveness of CRM (primarily email) campaigns.

Reporting directly to Senior Manager, CRM, the ideal candidate is an experienced database marketer, with direct marketing and channel experience. They need to be capable of building and evolving CRM email marketing campaigns and interpreting results to generate insight and formulating concepts and campaigns to deliver results. They are strategic and analytical with the ability to think outside the box and drive new unique approaches.

It’s imperative that the candidate is proactive and continuously seeking new opportunities to improve messaging and targeting, and enhanced client experience with a keen focus on performance measurement.


Responsibilities
:

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager CRM to implement and execute the CRM email marketing strategy.
  • Effectively manage external agencies for message & campaign development, email design execution and campaign targeting and program measurement.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop and maintain ADC marketing campaign-performance dashboard.
  • Build our customer journey/contact strategy, mapping and define targeting strategies enabling new opportunities to drive acquisition and retention.
  • Process improvement – identify opportunities to automate and improve efficiency.
  • Actively contribute to the overall marketing planning cycle.
  • Data analysis – Analyze data campaign performance to provide insight for opportunities for campaigns optimization.
  • Campaign management – Provide guidance for campaign targeting of marketing programs, particularly the use of control groups and related post-analysis.
  • Effectively communicate and present campaign results to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business, and IT on complex data delivery.


Required Education and Experience
:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing (preferred) or Mathematics.
  • Experience in a database or email marketing/marketing automation analytics/CRM role.
  • Background with Data Management, Business Intelligence, Reporting Tools and Design (Google Analytics, Microstrategy would be preferred).
  • Strong SQL/SAS skills an asset.
  • Highly creative with the ability to think outside the box when developing concepts, approach and offers.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills in order to be able to interpret data and generate new actionable insights.
