At Rogers, we are on a journey to grow our Agile Marketing practice and we are seeking Agile Scrum Master to help us nurture and accelerate the adoption of Agile Marketing best practices. Our colleagues in Digital and Consumer IT teams are already using different forms of Agile ways of working with great success. We’re taking the trail they’ve blazed and expanding Agile ways of working into our Wireless organisation with Agile Marketing.

We are looking for an Agile Marketing Scrum Master/Program Manager with Marketing or Digital Marketing background who will sit at the intersection of strategy & implementation in our agile marketing squads. The Scrum Master is here to make the agile marketing team run smoothly and lead the squad in conducting ceremonies, ideating marketing tests, prioritizing ideas & sprints and communicating results to senior executives. On an average day, the scrum master might be immersed in developing hypothesis to test, analyzing data, working side by side with the product owner, coaching a team, managing multiple stakeholders within the business, all while keeping our customer at the center of everything we do.

Location Toronto or Montreal.


What you will do:

  • Facilitate processes of an agile marketing team
  • Run agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-up, sprint planning), co-create and manage test backlog and help team remove roadblocks on a daily basis
  • Ensure key processes are respected to drive execution
  • Assist the Business Owner in leading the agile team:
  • Coordinate ideation sessions
  • Keep the backlog groomed and ensure there is visibility in the next steps
  • Ensure with test lead that test briefs are ready, on time and with all required info
  • Plan and lead sprint planning sessions
  • Plan and lead sprint retro sessions
  • Provide reporting on squad performance
  • Provide coaching and support to team members on agile practices
  • Support the Product Owner to create clear goals and product backlog
  • Introduce new and advanced practices to improve the team and performance
  • Work with other scrum masters to share lessons learned and continuously improve way of work
  • Solicit team feedback to identify areas of opportunity and work with team to continuously improve


What you will bring:

  • 4 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile marketing organization, prior marketing experience is highly desirable.
  • CSM/SAFe/KanBan certified or equivalent experience considered as an asset
  • Knowledge of Agile framework, with a focus on Agile marketing
  • Exceptional leadership skills to support, enable and serve teams with variety of expertise and background
  • Very organized and detailed oriented
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and should thrive in high expectation scenario with many stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in creating and managing dashboards
  • A continuous improvement mindset to drive improvements to team performance
  • Ability to resolve conflict and improve team dynamics
  • Excellent bilingual communication skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles such as funnel optimization UX, SEO & Landing Page optimization considered as an asset
  • Experience in working with data analysts to project and report behavioral and revenue data considered as an asset
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, and MS Teams

About the Role
As our content marketing manager, you’ll be the company’s voice and will be responsible for creating content to drive high-quality traffic to our site and engagement. From creating thought-leadership guides to writing emails designed to prospects and customers, you will work closely with the rest of our marketing team.
You will also be responsible for creating, owning, and executing the content strategy. Your experience in creating content ranking on search engines’ first page will help you map out content and how it fits with our buyer’s journey.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who is result-driven – you create high value content and you know how to measure its success. Joining a lean but growing marketing team, you can create great content quickly and with little to no supervision. Curious by nature, you also stay up to date with marketing trends and other updates that impact your work.

What You’ll Do

    • Own and define our content strategy
    • Create high-value content for brand awareness, consideration, and activation stages of the buyer’s journey
    • Work with our acquisition team to craft content that improves our search visibility for transactional and use-case search queries
    • Support content creation across various marketing channels (ads, emails, in-app messages, etc.)
    • Research and understand market and customer trends to define content subject and topics

Your Background

    • 3 to 5 years of experience in content marketing, ideally in SaaS
    • Track record of content creation that has ranked on Google’s first page
    • Strong writing and editing skills as well as strong communications

Bonus Points

    • Solid analytical skills to identify opportunities to drive high-quality traffic and report on KPIs such as traffic and leads
    • Understanding of Google algorithm and SEO best practices (content clusters, distribution plan, etc.)
    • Experience using SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Moz or Ahrefs
    • Understanding of the end-to-end buyer’s journey and how content fits into each stage

Position Overview

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Manager would be responsible for leading UNIQLO’s Digital Marketing team focused on paid social, organic social, search (SEM/SEO), CRM and email channels.


Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end digital campaign execution to support UNIQLO’s global direct to consumer and retail channels including: strategy, planning, forecasting, building, optimization and reporting
  • Lead and manage a team of 2~3 digital marketers focused on paid search (SEM), paid social, email channels and CRM.
  • Understand and analyze digital marketing KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CPM, CTR, etc.), and report results to the leadership and other stakeholders, expanding visibility of digital marketing to the business
  • Responsible for efficient management of marketing budgets tied to both performance and awareness goals
  • Develop and drive a testing and learning culture of continuous A/B testing and data analysis and refine marketing tactics based on learnings
  • Partner with brand and EC teams to define and execute scalable audience strategy and brand focused messaging across digital channels
  • Initiate and lead development of digital marketing localization and translation
  • Develop seamless multi-channel journeys to drive acquisition and retention
  • Ensure best-in-class campaign UTM tracking, attribution modeling and tag management to enable accurate reporting of digital marketing tactics
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry news, best practices and changes in platforms, and identify how they impact existing programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Desired Skills and Experiences

  • Min 5 years of equivalent work experience in digital media, digital marketing or similar is an asset
  • 1+year of people management and/or leadership experience is required
  • Advanced working knowledge of search engine marketing (Google Ads), search engine optimization (SEO), paid social ads (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube), display/programmatic, email, Data Management Platforms and web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
  • Proven ability to develop digital marketing campaigns that adhere to brand values and deliver performance or awareness results
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on data
  • Experience working in EC and/or Marketing and/or loyalty is an asset
