What will you do?

  • As a Jr. Digital Marketing Specialist, you possess a combination of business and technical skills to help support Siemens Canada’s digital transformation.
  • Working within Corporate Communications you will:
    • Support the Digital Infrastructure Consultant with building, editing and quality checking Siemens Canada web pages and intranet pages, using Adobe Experience Manager and Microsoft SharePoint, respectively, adhering to branding and design specifications. You will support in leveraging the Eloqua Marketing Automation solution to build email and digital marketing campaigns. You will understand and interpret data and analytics to implement enhancements.
    • Support the Social Media Manager with the creation and management of organic and paid content on Siemens social media channels. including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. You will help manage and schedule content via CRM tool Sprinklr.
    • You will create and edit video and audio files, manage digital assets using Adobe Digital Asset Management tool.
  • You may be asked to participate in special projects based on business requirements
  • Work with Canadian and global team and project members

What will you need to succeed?

  • Certificate/Degree in Digital Graphic Arts or Digital Marketing and Communications would be considered an asset
  • Graduated from post-secondary within the last 12 months.
  • Above average study performance (Accumulative average > 2.5 (B-)). Transcripts to be provided upon request.
  • Demonstrable experience with Adobe Experience Manager or Microsoft Share Point would be an asset
  • Demonstrable experience planning, creating and scheduling content for Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook
  • Demonstrable experience with Google Ads, including YouTube, display ads and Search would be an asset.
  • Experience creating social media reports and campaign analytics.
  • Great passion and aptitude for the convergence of marketing/communications with technology
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products is highly desirable
  • Experience with HTML and graphic editing tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of web analytics tools

Marketing Associate

Primary Responsibilities:

Marketing Planning and Execution

· Contributing to the development and execution of marketing strategies and plans that drive results across multiple channels

· Assisting in the development and implementation of the marketing budget and results dashboard to increase return on spend

· Event coordination from initiation to reporting, including tracking invitations, RSVP’s, securing venues, event participation, coordinating room preparation, surveys, thank-you and follow-up

Digital Marketing

· Exceptional research, writing, and editing skills to write/create/produce materials across a variety of platforms/channels (web, digital, print, social media, email, etc.).

· Experience in google analytics, google ads, social media ads manager

· Experience in website management strongly preferred (wordpress)

· Ability to adhere to brand standards

Who Day in the Life:

The Marketing Specialist will support in the development and implementation of the merchandise 360 marketing strategies that are flawless in execution, on time and on budget. Essential Job Functions

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to measure and review the ongoing effectiveness of the marketing programs, and communicate the results to business partners. Based on results, develop and implement optimization plans to ensure the achievement of goals
  • Under direction of the Marketing Manager, help support the conceptualization, prioritization and calendarization of digital content for an assigned area of business. Support story ideation and feature prioritization based on key trends, business goals and consumer insights.
  • Prepare and coordinate all creative briefs including ongoing weekly content and full funnel campaign initiatives with a key understanding of business need and marketing objectives.
  • Coordination and management of sample requests and product style out needs in support of photography planning, in close partnership with the Fashion Office.
  • Provide coaching and direction to the merchant teams as required ensuring adherence to the marketing process.
  • Complete all creative annotations and approvals in required system, combining both merchant and marketing feedback on time, ensuring marketing objectives are clearly met.
  • Analyze and research industry trends and consumer preferences in support of developing the marketing strategies for the designated businesses.
  • Proactively respond to changing business trends, implementing shifts or course corrects as needed.
  • Other duties as required in support of the Marketing Manager and the marketing team.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Commerce preferred
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated and progressive success in marketing, advertising and/or product management roles
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint with the ability and willingness to learn corporate technology
