On a day to day basis, you will be accountable for ensuring accurate and timely Advertising budget operations by interacting with various departments across Marketing lines of business, Finance and external vendors.You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.How you’ll succeed
- Tracking and Reporting – Enter MPAs and estimates in tracking tools and ensure proper approvals are retained for record retention. Maintain budget tracking reports for Search, Programmatic, and Social Media. Verify invoices and process through Coupa and track invoice details in Allocadia (budget tracking tool). Month end Finance deliverables may include verifying the General Ledger (GL), submitting accruals, preparing correcting entries, summarizing monthly spend, providing variance commentary, and actualizing Allocadia to balance to the GL.
- Vendor Management – Respond to vendor Accounts Receivable questions, proof of payment requests, remittance changes, and taxation queries.
- Reconciliation – Meet monthly with CIBC Paid Media Team and Marketing Managers to reconcile costs, clear variances, balance to allocation, follow up on MPAs/estimates and ensure budget forecasts are updated promptly. Clarify discrepancies or questions from the Budget Team. Follow up on missing or revised MPAs/estimates and confirm final billings.
