Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering, Masters Science in Engineering an asset
  • 12 plus years minimum experience in a technical leadership role, either as a technical lead or project manager – with aspects of design, modelling, and analysis
  • Bring engineering thoughtfulness to resolution of problems that are sometimes loosely- or only partially-defined, requiring experience within given discipline
  • Expert experience with Monte Carlo nuclear analysis codes such as Serpent, MCNP, and SCALE and working knowledge for other codes such as Griffin and Bison.
  • Proficiency in using LINUX (able to run jobs using super-computers) and proficiency in computer programming / scripting
