The Marketing Campaign Manager is a high impact member of the Intelex marketing team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing awareness, consideration and preference/intent demand gen initiatives to successfully drive brand engagement – generating lots of leads, and ultimately pipeline/revenue. This role sits within the Marketing department, reporting to the Director, Demand Generation.


Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Drive innovative programs that stand out in the B2B EHSQ (Environment/ESG, Health & Safety and Quality) marketplace with laser focus on driving quality leads that generate a steady flow into the pipeline
  • Manage multiple campaigns at once, while keeping all of your stakeholders updated and informed
  • Work hand-in-hand with sales, product marketing, digital marketing, and the content team to create alignment and gather requirements to build marketing campaign plans to support pipeline targets
  • Develop multi-channel integrated campaigns including 3rd party programs, field or virtual events, vertical programs, webinars, etc.
  • Facilitate marketing campaign prioritization in collaboration with internal stakeholders, and develop a consistent planning and campaign management process.
  • Maintain and communicate a calendar of demand generation programs to provide transparency for and create alignment with key stakeholders
  • Closely align with sales to communicate demand gen goals and tactics to measure lead quality and track marketing’s contribution to pipeline
  • Work with Product Marketing to accurately target personas, bringing the right message to market to drive brand and engagement
  • Manage day-to-day communication with extended marketing team to drive projects to completion, following up with post mortem results on an ongoing basis
  • Keep abreast of the daily pacing and performance of your campaigns and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign effectiveness and meet expected KPIs
  • Track and scrutinize pipeline sources from your marketing campaigns from lead creation to revenue and analyze information to improve decision making
  • Improve results through continuous testing and refinement strategies
  • Track the ROI on campaigns to make informed recommendations for future initiatives/planning
  • Manage vendor / third party relationships

  • Strong storytelling with exceptional writing capabilities to create compelling copy for e-mails, landing pages, and other communication vehicles

Technical Competencies

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in demand generation /campaign marketing with solid project/campaign experience
  • Demand generation experience in cloud-based B2B enterprise software (SaaS) is preferred
  • Experience in the Environmental/ESG, Health & Safety and Quality is an asset

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing is preferred

Job Description

Points is looking for a Manager, Media Demand Generation to join our team for a permanent position in our downtown Toronto office.

The Manager, Media Demand Generation will be responsible for all paid media buying and marketing activity on multiple worldwide Travel Loyalty Partner accounts supporting Points primary products.

Reporting to Senior Manager, MDG, the person will be responsible for:

  • Prepare MDG campaign media plan and briefs, leveraging experience across Partners for optimal channel selection, targeting strategy and maximize overall effectiveness
  • Media Buying: Hands on media campaign setup across multiple digital paid media channels (including social, display, native, programmatic, video) and working with agencies (SEM, Affiliate) to ensure media is delivered on time with high quality, and campaign performance targets are met or exceeded. Use of first and third-party data and segmentation to reach desired target audiences is an important part of this function.
  • Frequent monitoring & optimization and post-campaign analysis of MDG campaign media performance to maximize campaign revenue and improve MDG campaign budget efficiency.
  • Ongoing review of additional demand generation activities and channels, plus responsibility identifying media and targeting growth opportunities across new/existing channels for Partners under management.
  • Financial Management: Responsibility for day-to-day budget and financial management activity for MDG campaigns across multiple media channels for Partners under management.
  • Ongoing communication with internal and external creative and account teams to align to larger Marketing campaign goals, and ensure creation of required media ad units and copy.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years hands-on experience with paid digital media channel campaign buying and planning, setup, ongoing optimization, measurement & testing. Candidates should have experience with a selection of programmatic display, social, affiliate, and Search media channels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • Experience leveraging first and/or third-party data sets to effectively target media audiences, combined with broader media targeting sets.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop, track and improve key performance metrics, including cost-per-lead and cost-per-sale optimization with a strong focus on conversion metrics to drive increased campaign ROI.

As the Head of Demand Generation at EventMobi, you will directly own the teams and agency relationships managing marketing automation, website and PPC programs while overseeing the architecture of campaign design across content, events and product marketing teams. You will have a key role in ideation and execution of the global demand generation strategy while proactively interfacing with others in marketing, product and sales as required to create and deliver a growth plan to support the company’s marketing strategy and targets.


What Your Work Will Focus On

  • Create and execute annual, quarterly and monthly demand generation plans to support the overall marketing strategy and plan.
  • Develop, implement and continuously optimize all lead generation, nurture and customer acquisition campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members, product and sales teams to generate qualified leads that convert to new business opportunities and revenue generating customers.
  • Optimize existing acquisition channels and build out new ones including paid, organic, SEO, SEM, social, digital and direct.
  • Be responsible for website messaging, management and maintenance and ensure it functions as the hub of all demand generation activity including conversion optimization.
  • Understand target market and personas to support the development of demand generation initiatives.
  • Drive strategy and performance of all digital lead generation including Adwords, Third Party sites and retargeting.
  • Work with other members of the marketing team to leverage the most effective offers, initiatives and assets to drive conversions.
  • Implement systematic A/B testing to optimize all aspects of lead generation across all channels to drive open rates and lead conversion.
  • Own and operationalize all demand generation workflow and touch points in HubSpot, ensuring accurate data flow with dashboard visibility for real-time monitoring.
  • Establish KPI’s for each demand generation channel and make data driven decisions to optimize performance and ROI.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal work processes, incorporate new best-in-class marketing tools and approaches.
  • Create a budget and manage against the budget to drive new customer acquisition within target ranges for cost per lead and CAC.


What You Will Bring to the Team

  • 5 plus years’ of progressive experience generating demand, expanding pipeline and acquiring new logos for B2B SaaS based businesses.
  • A keen desire to be hands-on and dig deep into all aspects of the demand generation function.
  • Experience with paid and organic channels and a variety of growth tactics.
  • Expert level skills using HubSpot, Google Ads, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience designing, creating, implementing B2B websites with the purpose of optimizing high quality lead conversion for new business development.
  • Understanding of best practices in design, copy and creative for ads, and website.
  • Interest in A/B testing to optimize all aspects of the demand generation function.
  • Strong working knowledge of other related Martech tools and 3rd party platforms.

Job Requirements:

5+ years of demand generation experience in B2B marketing

Advanced experience with Google analytics and reporting tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary purpose of this role will be to focus on generating new customers and leads through paid advertising and digital marketing, as well as assist in managing and improving our testing programs.

PPC (60%)

  • Manage and build on our current PPC free email acquisition campaigns, and expand into paid subscriber acquisition and wealth management lead generation.
  • Launch and optimize our PPC campaigns on search platforms (e.g., Google AdWords, Microsoft, Facebook) to ensure their success and to identify opportunities to scale.
  • Perform weekly PPC tasks, such as keyword research, negative keyword mining, bid adjustments, and writing attractive and concise copy for adverts.
  • Landing page split-tests and optimization.
  • Technical setup of tracking scripts and conversion event codes.
  • Recommend new strategies based on data and testing.
  • Track KPIs to assess performance, pinpoint issues and improve ROI.
  • Help create weekly and monthly reports for management (e.g., dashboards).
  • Keep abreast of PPC and digital marketing trends.

Lead Generation (30%)

  • Work with manager to build digital marketing strategies for additional lead generation marking support for wealth management – email and website.
  • Create and implement testing opportunities to showcase value and bring new leads into the sales funnel.
  • Dive into business performance data to understand what’s working (and not working) and make necessary adjustments.
  • Present findings and make recommendations based on your analytics.

Testing Program Management (10%)

  • Coordinate our testing & optimization program to empower marketing with data driven insights.
  • Collaborate with your marketing colleagues to drive continuous improvements in the testing program, including implementing industry best practices in methodologies, technologies, and automation.
  • Act as primary testing & optimization subject matter expert. Maintain a testing backlog, coordinate execution of key tests across the organization.
  • Create a testing knowledge base by recording successes, failures and trends accumulated across tests, and effectively communicate these learnings and insights.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience managing PPC campaigns across all platforms.
  • Proven track record of exceptional PPC results.
  • Advanced Google Analytics certification. Google Ads certified.
  • Experience with digital reporting, tagging, tracking and analytics, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with conversion optimization, UX design, and email and website marketing.
  • Passion for testing marketing efforts.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Moderate to advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, graphs, etc.).
