We are looking for a skilled Growth Marketing Analyst to regularly uncover valuable insights about our customers and their journey. You will make data driven recommendations in regards to optimizing the inbound journey to site and experience once they land on Later.com. You are a marketer at heart and have a passion for both the art & science of the practice. You thoroughly enjoy digging deep into data, creating reports and transforming that data into action yet consumable stories for other stakeholders across the business.

The Growth Marketing Analyst will play a key role within the Demand Generation team working closely with their counterparts within the paid acquisition, web, SEO and email marketing groups. You will be assisting your team in optimizing results across the entire acquisition funnel utilizing a test and learn approach. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for prospects and existing customers on both web and mobile properties.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collecting, cleaning, maintaining data integrity and security for business data
  • Provide data analysis and insights across web (traffic, visitor behaviour, site performance), Performance Marketing (CAC, LTV, ROAS), A/B tests, SEO (Organic traffic, conversions) and other initiatives
  • Establish a cadence and reporting structure to share insights and recommendations with the Demand Generation team and broader Marketing team
  • Own tracking management, guidance and implementation when required
  • Work with channel leads to define the most effective KPIs to track and optimize
  • Analyze current attribution model and support in integrating the appropriate model for Later
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify gaps throughout the digital customer experience and interpret findings within our user base to drive stronger growth and retention
  • Work with web & engineering teams to establish best practices for testing and web analytics solutions
  • Produce reports and dashboards for the Management team.
  • Assemble and maintain dashboards that will allow teams to visualize data for both scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, automating where possible
  • Be the owner and champion of all marketing analytics tools
  • Use internal data to better understand customer behaviour within the business funnel, from acquisition, through retention to monetization

What we are looking for

  • At least 4+ years of post-collegiate in a quantitative field in technology, subscription services, or equivalent post-graduate experience
  • B.S. in economics, decision science, statistics, engineering, applied math, operations research, or a related quantitative field
  • In-depth knowledge of web analytics – Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL query languages
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Significant experience with Excel
  • Ability to communicate the results of your analyses clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Be a hands-on manager of paid campaigns, including setting up accounts, creating campaigns from scratch, A/B testing, optimizing assets and targeting, and delivering performance reports
  • Collaborate with our Content and Design teams for campaign assets – including ad copy, images, video, content, and landing pages
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to define critical metrics and develop campaign performance dashboards.
  • Share campaign performance and make recommendations for campaign improvements

What We Look For

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience focused on inbound marketing, demand generation, paid media, and/or account-based marketing
  • BA/BS degree OR equivalent work experience
  • Hands-on experience working with major self-service ad platforms including Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Consistent track record of scaling top-of-funnel demand generation programs
  • 1-2 years of ABM or lifecycle marketing experience with knowledge of Pardot is a plus
  • Some content marketing and marketing automation knowledge
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, especially cross-functionally

THE POSITION

The Chief Content Officer (CCO) leads the vision and strategic planning for all content throughout our company. The CCO ensures this content advances our mission, meets our high standards, builds and deepens audience relationships, and drives revenue. As a key partner on the Senior Leadership Team, the CCO helps further institutionalize a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Strategy
  • Lead in setting the vision, voice, and strategy for all content and content-driven product development across platforms and formats that is audience-centric, data-informed, and competitive in today’s fast-changing media and business landscape.

Content Production

Build and develop teams who:
  • Publish multi-faceted digital media and content, including through the mediums of text, video, audio, infographics, etc.
  • Demonstrate impact and generate earned media responses – awards, online mentions, re-posts, shares, reviews, recommendations or content picked up by other media or third parties.
  • Develop and uphold content standards (e.g. libel, fairness, ethics, and accuracy, etc.)

Engagement & Growth

Leadership & Management

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of LGBTQ2+ communities and their histories, tastes and needs.

  • Experience in and knowledge of print or broadcast journalism with a “nose” for the story. Strong news-storytelling and journalism background and proven success in developing content for multiple platforms.

  • Proven track record combining journalism and information resources with multi-platform strategies to support revenue objectives.

  • Understands digital audience behaviour and psychology and how to successfully translate into loyalty-building content and products.
  • Audience development and subscription strategies experience a plus.

Points is looking for a Senior Manager, Growth Marketing to join our Marketing team for a permanent position, based out of our downtown Toronto office. The Performance Marketing team is responsible for all paid media buying/planning and marketing activity on multiple worldwide Travel Loyalty Partner accounts supporting Points primary products.

  • Launch and optimize our PPC campaigns on search platforms (e.g., Google AdWords, Microsoft, Facebook) to ensure their success and to identify opportunities to scale.
  • Perform weekly PPC tasks, such as keyword research, negative keyword mining, bid adjustments, and writing attractive and concise copy for adverts.
  • Landing page split-tests and optimization.
  • Technical setup of tracking scripts and conversion event codes.
  • Recommend new strategies based on data and testing.
  • Track KPIs to assess performance, pinpoint issues and improve ROI.
  • Help create weekly and monthly reports for management (e.g., dashboards).
  • Keep abreast of PPC and digital marketing trends.

Lead Generation (30%)

  • Work with manager to build digital marketing strategies for additional lead generation marking support for wealth management – email and website.
  • Create and implement testing opportunities to showcase value and bring new leads into the sales funnel.
  • Dive into business performance data to understand what’s working (and not working) and make necessary adjustments.
  • Present findings and make recommendations based on your analytics.

Testing Program Management (10%)

  • Coordinate our testing & optimization program to empower marketing with data driven insights.
  • Collaborate with your marketing colleagues to drive continuous improvements in the testing program, including implementing industry best practices in methodologies, technologies, and automation.
  • Act as primary testing & optimization subject matter expert. Maintain a testing backlog, coordinate execution of key tests across the organization.
  • Create a testing knowledge base by recording successes, failures and trends accumulated across tests, and effectively communicate these learnings and insights.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience managing PPC campaigns across all platforms.
  • Proven track record of exceptional PPC results.
  • Advanced Google Analytics certification. Google Ads certified.
  • Experience with digital reporting, tagging, tracking and analytics, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with conversion optimization, UX design, and email and website marketing.
  • Passion for testing marketing efforts.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Moderate to advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, graphs, etc.).
