Apartment Maintenance Technician
The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of apartment units within a property. This includes performing repairs, troubleshooting, and completing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure that all units are in good working condition. The Maintenance Technician must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks in apartment units including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems
– Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure units are well-maintained
– Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or property management
– Maintain inventory of supplies and tools needed for maintenance tasks
– Follow all company policies and procedures for safety and maintenance work
– Communicate effectively with tenants and property managers to address maintenance issues
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
– Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
