Analyst, Marketing Communications, Burger King, Canada
Restaurant Brands International is looking for an Analyst, Marketing Communications to join our marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Burger King Canada marketing team in a newly created role, reporting to the Manager, Marketing Communications, that supports the core business, with an aim to share the best Burger King has to offer with Canadians.
The Analyst, Marketing Communications will be responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders and external agencies in the development of integrated marketing plans. Candidates should have a good understanding of marketing tactics and advertising that drives brand love, awareness, and consideration.
Bringing a combination of solid project management, communication, and time management skills, along with the ability to collaboratively work cross-functionally, is critical to this role’s success.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Marketing, Digital and Operations teams to launch both culturally and brand relevant marketing campaigns
- Help the brand leads in development of the marketing calendar, including ideation, briefing, evaluating creative through a strategic lens and providing clear feedback to all marketing agencies
- Manages required day-to-day tasks related to the launch of campaigns, including coordinating with internal leadership teams, agencies, and legal/key stakeholders
- Manages, protects and champions the brand positioning, voice, identity and promise as laid out in both internal brand standards guidelines and external agency frameworks
- Supports new product launches and content management through ideation, working with external vendors and supply chain teams
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
- Experience in QSR or CPG will be an asset
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Highly organized with an ability to work in a deadline-driven role
- Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple tasks and projects effectively within a defined timeline
- Demonstrate meticulous follow-through and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Has strong attention-to-detail, advanced written and verbal communication skills, strong copy-editing and ability to judge creative and articulate constructive feedback to both internal and external partners in service of the creative vision
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to interface and maintain excellent professional relationships with a variety of audiences to include internal partners, agencies, vendors and internal teams
- Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment
This role is based out of the Restaurant Brands International Head Office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The work format is hybrid, with 4 days in office.
