  • Participate in the software development lifecycle by aiding multiple products across the ANSYS portfolio.
  • Write effective automated tests.
  • Work collaboratively and creatively with UX designers.
  • Transform code from rough prototype to production-ready, maintainable, reusable components.
  • Create polished, beautiful UI that is appealing to both designers and developers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or UX/UI User Interface a related field
  • Solid, demonstrable experience with C# or Java (C# is preferred).
  • Basic understanding of CSS and/or SCSS
  • Exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge in the following areas is a bonus:
  • UI design and implementation using Windows Forms, WPF, or a Java UI framework

  • Design, implement, maintain, test, and document software modules and sub-systems with moderate complexity.
  • Perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products, identifying and resolving issues discovered by QA or product support.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience with software development using Python, Go, .Net, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with technical software development demonstrated through academic, research, or industry projects.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing applications using Python, .Net, Go, Java, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted database technologies such as MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of modern development tools and practices, including Docker, Containers, Terraform, etc.
  • Experience working in large-scale commercial software development environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed team.
