Job Description

As the Operations Specialist, you will work within our Performance Marketing Partnerships team to help us build a healthy, high-ROI affiliate program to support our goal of increasing awareness for Shopify and driving merchant growth through relationships with high-value affiliates and marketing partners. You’ll have the opportunity to design, create, and execute integrated governance processes and products at the partner and program level with the overall objective of supporting healthy customer acquisition.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor affiliates for compliance of program terms, including affiliate fraud, PPC, and content violations and manage remediation processes
  • Manage governance workstream with a team of contractors who assist with compliance oversight and provide quality assurance checks
  • Serve as the main point of escalation for affiliate support tickets originating from Zendesk, including affiliate applications, ensuring data accuracy and monthly reconciliation with finance
  • Assess program compliance risk and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Support overall channel operations, including the maintenance/enhancements to Impact Radius and Salesforce in order to better support Affiliate Partner Managers and overall channel operational efficiency
  • Monitor channel and program performance ensuring all activity is tracking towards merchant acquisition and cost/customer targets.
  • Collaborate with Affiliate Partner Managers and data science teams to create and implement solutions and frameworks to ensure accurate and impactful measurement, reporting, and insights
  • Manage affiliate approvals into the Education Partner Program
  • Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting data from third-party platforms (i.e. Impact Radius) and adapt to custom internal reporting tools
  • Experience with Impact Radius is a plus

Qualifications

  • A strong analytics and growth mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and partnership acumen.
  • Experience working with growth teams like paid channels, lifecycle marketing, developers, engineers, designers, and data scientists.
  • A background in digital marketing including performance marketing, influencer and affiliate marketing, and customer acquisition marketing.
  • Experience developing performance reports using analytics tools like Mode.
  • Ability to influence cross functional teams and champion new concepts and ideas.

Publicis Emil Toronto is currently seeking a Digital Project Manager, Email Specialist. The role is responsible for the end-to-end project management of email campaigns. From time to time, you may also be responsible for managing other types of projects including advertising campaigns, creative concepts, social and/or mobile platform campaigns and CRM initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 6 years + CRM/ Digital project management or production experience in an interactive or

integrated agency or similar environment

  • Should have experience with Sales Force and be familiar with the platform and its capabilities.
  • Can show experience in bottom-up scoping of projects, creating project budgets, tracking actuals, and creating statements of work
  • Stays abreast of new trends in advertising, particularly in technology
  • Demonstrates an ability to solve problems with the solution that works for all stakeholders without compromising the quality of the deliverables or the project
  • Solid understanding of production and the creative development process, experience design, technology, quality assurance testing and marketing methodologies
  • Successful history of project leadership to clients and account, with demonstrable experience in setting and managing stakeholder expectations
  • A professional and approachable demeanor, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic agency

environment

  • Experience working with multiple office teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, wireframing/workflow tools,

online project management/collaboration/ticketing tools e.g. JIRA, basecamp etc.
The successful candidate will:

  • Work hand-in-hand with creative, production, account management, clients and their

development partners to flawlessly deliver best-in-class email campaigns.

  • Be the day-to-day lead on email development activities including scheduling, resourcing, asset deliveries, estimates, QA and approvals.
  • Accurately interpret business requirements and build project plans to deliver on objectives and budgets.
  • Drive efficiencies and optimize timelines and development throughout the life of projects.
  • Assess risks, develop and lead quality assurance efforts at all stages across all projects.
  • Understand data implementation from both strategic and technical perspectives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive results through creative and technical innovation.
  • Strengthen and maintain the collaborative relationships that have been established with our development partners.
  • Effectively manage project communications with internal and deployment teams.
  • Handle high volume of project work effectively and be confident in prioritizing and delegating tasks.
  • Be a proactive problem-solver, anticipate issues and be two steps ahead of the team at

all times.

  • Seamlessly manage BCR, estimates and other client related financials.
  • Manage creative resourcing on a weekly basis to ensure creative resources are assigned to all CRM projects.
