What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will be a transformational leader who contributes to the transformation of Private Banking. You will be a subject matter expert and decision maker in the investigation, formulation and completion of opportunities related to products used by Private Banking. You will be a thought leader who identifies, analyzes, and recommends options to support Private Banking, solve complex business problems, create value, maximize growth and improve business performance. You will also bring fact-based and objective views and drive the resolution of complex business problems
What will you do?
- Contribute to a set of complex projects from multiple disciplines (growth strategy, product and process design, technology improvement, …)
- Collaborate with internal Private Banking and business partners across RBC to define, scope, and analyze Private Banking needs and challenges
- Proactively identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost efficiencies while mitigating risk, and improving the client experience
- Assess and manage risk throughout initiatives in partnership with AML, Risk, Technology, and other key stakeholders
- Contribute to the review, revision of product pricing to ensure revenue and profitability optimization
- Identify and work with resources needed to complete projects
- Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, stakeholder map, risk, and inputs and outputs at various stages
- Work with multiple stakeholders across RBC and establish strong working relationships and trust
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Proven ability as a self-starter, creative problem solver
- 5+ years Program/Product launch experience, ideally on digital or analytical products
- Strong analytical capabilities, ability to take complex data analysis and translate and action as business insights
- Strategic business sense, agility and creative mindset with proven ability to effectively partner/work and succeed in a complex & matrixed environment
- Passionate change agent
Nice-To-Have
- Product Management Experience
- Experience and knowledge of database solutions, process executions as well as marketing technology tools
- Experience with Infrastructure Services such as network; database; Cloud Infrastructure Services
- Knowledge of client/UX and knowledge of digital and design principles; deep knowledge of digital consumer behaviour
- Education or experience in Business and Data Strategy, Analytics and/or Computer Sciences
