Digital Marketing Manager, Rogers Bank

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Manager, Digital Acquisition is responsible for leading campaigns to drive the growth of the Rogers Bank suite of financial products. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging analytics and insights to drive effective and profitable customer acquisition programs, while adhering to all regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Specific Responsibilities:

Business Planning/Forecasting

(20%)

  • Input into the development of digital forecasts and budget processes to ensure adequate and appropriate resources are budgeted/allocated to achieve business objectives
  • Input into the quarterly digital marketing planning process, with input and support from multiple stakeholders
  • Represent Rogers Bank within cross-functional marketing councils and scrum teams

Campaign Management

  • Develop a strategic test-and-learn optimization plan, implementing best-in-class methodologies to achieve business and compliance objectives

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist – Digital Media Planner will draw on proven marketing experience, and will use their creative and critical thinking skills, solutions-oriented problem-solving skills and exceptional communication skills to develop unique customer engagement and interaction experiences. Work closely with the CDW sales and product marketing teams to identify customer and segment market needs.

This role is to manage media planning through digital channels such as display ads through business and technology specific publications, as well as other traditional media such as out-of-home, newspaper and radio. The Marketing Specialist – Digital Media Planner with prepare and present media plans, proposals and analysis – grounded in insights and experience, resulting in successful media executions for CDW and our partners.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare, write and present digital media plans, proposals and analysis that exceed stakeholder objectives
  • Plan, book and monitor media for CDW Canada and its partners while regularly evaluating and reporting on the campaign performance and metrics
  • Prepare and present evaluations of media publications, opportunities, media trends and areas of expansion/opportunity to CDW and its stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships through regular cadence meetings, providing trainings/information sessions, presentations and more
  • Strategize media buying plan and process in order to deliver results. Oversee the administration and maintenance of the media plans
  • Responsible for accurate and timely finance reports and budget control. Ensure stakeholder budgets are managed and on track
  • Support the creation of campaign post reports including providing actionable insights and learnings. Source and evaluate proposals from media partners as required
  • Assist with document creation: process, presentations, visual summaries, schedules and reports
  • Remain up to date with latest updates from major media partners and digital channels. Make recommendations on areas of opportunity and new media channels while continuing to proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape

What you need to succeed:
Must-have:

  • Post-secondary education – University graduate and/or advertising/marketing College degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in advertising, media planning, digital marketing or other similar
  • Experience within an advertising agency an asset
  • Customer service oriented. Strong learning agility, with a passion for continuous development
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

What will your typical day look like?

The Senior Digital Marketing Associate will work closely with international teams, and support stakeholders at all organizational levels. The role offers a good balance between team support responsibilities and independent, project-based work. This role requires a solid understanding of content marketing, digital marketing, and communications fundamentals.

In this diverse role you will assist with:

  • Campaign leadership: Support multiple integrated global marketing campaigns with tasks including the development of market messaging, curation of marketing content (multi-channel digital programs, social media, video, etc.) and materials & communications programs to aid with global adoption
  • Content development: Edit pieces independently and provide content, work with a variety of different types of content, including but not limited to Deloitte.com webpages, digital advertising units, social media activities, writing email marketing copy, and supporting internal communications campaigns or blog content generation off original thought leadership materials.

  • Search engine optimization: Act as a SEO specialist, who understands the fundamentals of keyword research, SEO copywriting and the behaviors of search engines.

Help contribute content to a monthly marketing newsletter and Webinars for engagement with the Member Firms around the world. Assist the Global Tax & Legal Communications team with tasks around Deloitte Tax & Legal Marketing presence on the Deloitte Resources Intranet site.
  • Brand support: Develop a complete and thorough knowledge of the Deloitte brand—our visual identity system, our personality, our positioning, and our brand architecture. You’ll master Tax & Legal’s brand positioning and key messages. Infuse our brand into your own work and provide counsel and support to others when necessary. You will lead our digital brand efforts for the Global Tax & Legal group and advise the Deloitte network on how the brand comes to life through our digital channels.
  • Project management: Manage multiple projects with competing timelines and different stakeholders. Own multiple activities―and understand the inter-relationship with these activities and how they contribute to an integrated marketing program. ·
