As part of the role, the Manager will work on identifying and understanding pain points arising through the merchant sales cycle. Success in this role will be demonstrated by improved satisfaction of the sales teams and through the growth of new opportunities.The Manager will work independently, receiving direction from the Leadership team and will participate in an interdivisional product and sales groups, such as Global Brand and Marketing, Bank’s Operational organizations (Legal Counsel, Risk and Compliance, AML, Call Centre, Accounting, Systems, Finance, Credit Solutions and Customer Service, etc.). The Manager must also be comfortable in managing a complex array of external vendors and partners.Because of the complexities involved in this product line, prior relevant experience in product management, product engagement, or sales enablement would be a highly desirable asset.What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to the business development and financial success of Sales through the development of customized client-facing material. Work with Sales, the Proposal Writing team and partner on ad-hoc requests (e.g., process development & execution, executive support, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Merchant Services Product and Sales Enablement teams on the merchant services sales journey to ensure success of new sales processes and product capabilities are understood and are utilized across key segments and within the distribution network.
  • Build-out merchant sales governance framework in collaboration with the stakeholders and segment partners. Analyze and evaluate the sales process, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and propose and implement solutions to streamline and improve overall sales operations.
  • Maintain sales process documentation, including sales playbooks, standard operating procedures, and best practices. Ensure the sales team is well-informed and adhering to established processes.
  • Create an environment in which the internal stakeholders and external partners pursue effective and efficient operations, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations of operational risk, sales conduct, regulatory and compliance risk.
  • Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviors; communicating vison/values/business strategy; and managing succession and development planning for the team.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Degree / post graduate degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales operations, enablement, or similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and sales teams
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioriies in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Global Transaction Banking services, products, and sales culture
  • Good understanding of the Small Business, Commercial and Corporate Bank’s objectives, strategies, and structure is also required
  • Familiraity with sales methodologies, processes, and best practices
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the merchant services and/or payment industry
  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in people, stakeholder, and vendor management
