Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, execute & manage organic search strategies for client.
  • Translate client’s marketing goals into a successful organic strategy.
  • Review all relevant material or attend meetings to gain a full understanding of our client’s marketing/site goals and objectives.
  • Develop keyword targeting strategy.
  • Audit client websites to ensure SEO best practice compliance.
  • Dev consulting to troubleshoot technical SEO issues.
  • Develop ongoing link building strategies and implement said strategies.
  • On-page optimizations on a page-by-page basis; perform regular SEO audits.
  • Report on web KPIs with a focus on keyword/page ranking and new natural search traffic opportunities.
  • Research and monitor competitor SEO activities.
  • Knowledge of tools including BrightEdge or Stat, Google Keyword Planner, Majestic, Google Search Console, Google Analytics & Screaming Frog.
  • Programming Languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Knowledge of Google’s algorithm updates and penalties On-page SEO and technical (site crawlability).
  • Regex Matching (Regular Expressions).
  • Google Site Operators.
  • Linkbuilding Keyword research and strategy.

Qualifications

  • 3 + years Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience, preferably in agency setting.
  • Strong technical background & proven track record in paid search engine optimization.
  • Strong background within HTML & CSS, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and more.
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex data in simple terms.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Keen eye for details & excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience working with web development teams.
  • Web development background is considered an asset.

  • Build and maintain media lists and provide proactive and reactive service to the media.
  • Proactively identify social media and corporate communications opportunities.
  • Monitor social media on an ongoing basis and track industry trends and competitors.
  • Track SEO and user engagement insights to track performance and report findings to the Growth Marketing Lead for social media strategy optimization.

 Requirements:

  • 2+ years of social media marketing and content creation experience.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn and Google Search marketing, and marketing on other social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.
  • Ability to grow a company’s social media presence and build brand legitimacy and awareness organically and successfully. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with marketing and sales tools such as Mailchimp or Salesforce.
  • Ability to use SEO and analytics tools like Google Analytics, to gather data-driven insights and deliverability metrics.
  • Ability to display a growth mindset and take initiative to thrive in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, diligent, organized, and willing to take complete ownership of a project.
  • Experience in the HR tech industry is a bonus.
  • Experience in technical and strategic understanding of technology, applications, and industry solutions being marketed is a bonus.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will:

  • Identify leading edge content formats and digital delivery mechanisms that reflect evolving ways in which our stakeholders consume and engage with information, including and not limited to, social meetups, interactive communication tools, blogs, vlogs, virtual discussion groups etc.
  • Support the development of high quality, compelling messaging about RGS focus areas that builds awareness of the body of work and why it is important.

  • Support the collaborative effort to advance awareness of, and engagement in, the Foresight: Reimagining the profession initiative with a customized approach for specific priority stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in corporate communications, investor relations, and/or digital marketing
  • Minimum of five years professional experience in digital content development and stakeholder engagement
  • Deep understanding of leading edge and emerging digital content formats and delivery mechanisms
  • Ability to synthesize technical information and develop compelling messaging
  • Confidence to articulate your communications savvy
