  • Email and SMS – campaign creation, audience and calendar management, analytics and reporting
  • Website management and performance optimization – website updates and maintenance, including blog curation, and increasing e-commerce performance in collaboration with a Digital Agency on driving acquisition.
  • Collaboration and support for all omni channel marketing efforts – linking digital efforts with PR, experiential and other activation initiatives, and campaigns
  • Organization and management of marketing assets, budgets, initiatives, and relationships, in collaboration with the VP of Marketing and Communications

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma / Degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Certificate in Digital Marketing
  • 3+ years’ progressive work experience in a digital marketing related role (agency or brand) and experience in a start-up environment a plus
  • Track record of delivering results through content development and curation through social media, email / SMS text messaging and website deployment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Photoshop & InDesign is an asset
  • Strong content curation skills for social media forums
  • In-depth experience with digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite etc.)
  • Understanding of basic web coding and loading – website management, HTML in WordPress / Woo commerce environment
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, automation, and online customer acquisition – across SEO, SEM, Paid Social and beyond
  • Great written and verbal communication with superior interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management, budget management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage and meet budget / time parameters
  • Analytical Skills – ability to interpret and report on campaign results including recommending improvements, following a What / So What / Now What approach

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate the client’s approach to data, activation, technology, and delivery process and identify opportunities for evolving the platform to improve operational efficiency
  • Assess how to enhance client’s First-Party Data, Identity, Privacy, Audience Management, and Technology Stack to create new revenue streams and customer value
  • Develop strategic roadmaps and supporting projects to provide clients a prioritized path to transformation

Qualifications

  • You have 5+ years of relevant solution design experience in selecting, implementing, and/or managing new marketing technologies, data, or analytic solutions
  • At least 2 years experience as a client-facing consultant (project and/or management)
  • Digital transformation related work that has demonstrated capability advancement for an organization is desired.
  • Understanding of the marketing technology ecosystem, identity solutions, marketing science, and online/offline activation tactics
  • Comfortable with creating a business case for transformation with supporting ROI analysis
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams/clients to develop solution designs and requirements
  • Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills
  • A degree in computer science, analytics, or related field is preferred

THE POSITION

We are currently looking for an experienced Campaign & Content Activation Director for Fanduel Canada. This role will lead a team that manages our integrated media partnerships and content activations across various media and talent partners. Our partnerships include channels such as television, radio and digital including social (paid and organic), display and video. The ideal candidate will know how to develop and navigate key relationships to manage integrated campaigns focused on product/editorial integrations as well as content and talent development, activation and distribution for both pre-recorded and live content. Ultimately, the candidate will judged on how successful they are at leveraging the integrations and campaigns to drive revenue and new customer acquisition to FanDuel Sportsbook & Casino. This will be a highly visible role, both internally and externally.


THE GAME PLAN

  • Responsible for the successful concept development and execution of our media partner integrations, content activation and distribution across our external partners
  • Foster strong collaboration and gather inputs from internal teams including product and product marketing, risk and trading, growth, integrated campaigns, content, creative and operations, compliance and legal
  • Manage the entirety of scheduling and production activities required for original, custom or co-created content activation and distribution for both live and pre-recorded content
  • Develop a test/learn and measurement/attribution framework of best practices for our integrated media activations to help determine the success and scalability of our integration and content activation initiatives
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of planning, tracking and execution of your program budget
  • Conduct the valuations for talent, integrations and distribution deals as needed
  • Ensure that our campaigns are joined up beyond our integrated media, so that our channels have a consistent message and tone of voice
  • Establish and manage the content activation roadmap from development to implementation and insight
  • Bring more business wide exposure into key programs to drive further collaboration and decision-making
  • Contribute to negotiations for complex partner or talent deals and partner/agency scope and compensation models
  • Foster an environment that encourages intelligent risk taking, innovation and creativity
  • Direct project and campaign prioritization with functions outside of the media team through strong business case development and influence
  • Manage, coach and develop an internal team.

What we’re looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing partnerships, ideally within media, entertainment or sports
  • Multi-channel campaign and partnership experience across traditional, digital/social across a local and national footprint
  • Experience working with and developing relationships with content creators, production studios/teams, programming, media, talent and sales organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing role at either an agency or on the operator side
  • Experience working with a consumer internet business with high customer engagement and relevant KPIs is a plus

  • Resilient and creative minded with a practical application to driving business outcomes

Summary

  • Maintain, manage and drive traffic to Ontario’s owned and paid digital platforms, including: Foodbasics.ca, the App, e-newsletters, paid and social media platforms.
  • Support content development and distribution process for Food Basics owned and social media channels and track results of key activations for reporting purposes.
  • Support digital campaign development and execution for key brand campaigns and lead secondary campaigns, across all marketing channels.
  • Support Merchandising Content Development Plan.

Qualifications
