The Marketing Specialist – Digital Media Planner with prepare and present media plans, proposals and analysis – grounded in insights and experience, resulting in successful media executions for CDW and our partners.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare, write and present digital media plans, proposals and analysis that exceed stakeholder objectives
  • Plan, book and monitor media for CDW Canada and its partners while regularly evaluating and reporting on the campaign performance and metrics
  • Prepare and present evaluations of media publications, opportunities, media trends and areas of expansion/opportunity to CDW and its stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships through regular cadence meetings, providing trainings/information sessions, presentations and more
  • Strategize media buying plan and process in order to deliver results. Oversee the administration and maintenance of the media plans
  • Responsible for accurate and timely finance reports and budget control. Ensure stakeholder budgets are managed and on track
  • Support the creation of campaign post reports including providing actionable insights and learnings. Source and evaluate proposals from media partners as required
  • Assist with document creation: process, presentations, visual summaries, schedules and reports
  • Remain up to date with latest updates from major media partners and digital channels. Make recommendations on areas of opportunity and new media channels while continuing to proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape

What you need to succeed:
Must-have:

  • Post-secondary education – University graduate and/or advertising/marketing College degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in advertising, media planning, digital marketing or other similar
  • Experience within an advertising agency an asset
  • Customer service oriented. Strong learning agility, with a passion for continuous development

Story behind the need:
Business Group: Digital Banking & Operations Analytics is seeking a Data Strategist working on tagging web pages. The incumbent is a tagging, data analytics and insight specialist supporting digital marketing initiatives across multiple channels and platforms to help drive engagement, leads, sales and loyalty. The incumbent collaborates with internal stakeholders as well as IT to help optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and tagging strategy.

Typical Day in the Role:

  • Determine the design and implementation of digital analytics tracking, tagging, and targeting and provide teams with code for implementation
  • Manage a variety of analytic (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and tag management (Adobe Dynamic Tag Management, Adobe Launch Tag Manager, Google Tag Manager) accounts across multiple geographies
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, backend developers, and analytic teams to build solutions for measurement of client platforms
  • Support campaign requirements for pixel and conversion tracking and maintain any link tracking documents
  • Create dashboards using Adobe Analytics Workspace and Google Analytics

Must have Skills:

  • Expertise in Adobe Analytics implementation using Adobe Launch Tag Manager – 2+ years of hands on experience
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript – 2+ years of hands on experience
  • Expertise in creating dashboards using Adobe Analytics Workspace – 2+ years of hands-on experience
  • 2+ years in configuring web and mobile analytics for multiple clients
  • Familiarity with tag audit tools like ObservePoint and Tag Inspector, as well as debugging tools such as Charles Proxy.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing Automation, the Digital Marketing Manager supports and maintains efficient operations across Fidelity Investment Canada’s marketing automation and sales enablement platforms, in addition to other initiatives.

What You Will Do:

Marketing automation and sales enablement support:

Support the efficient operation and execution of Fidelity’s marketing automation and sales enablement programs.

  • Set up and execute marketing automation campaigns, including events, webcasts and other email campaigns
  • Support the sales enablement efforts to help with engaging clients and prospects throughout the buyer’s journey
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize marketing operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create emails, landing pages, set up A/B and multivariate tests in order to optimize the user experience

Automation, A.I. and digital subject matter expert:

Bring a wide range of digital expertise to all projects and act as a subject matter expert for marketing in areas such as automation and A.I.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as Sales, Business Analytics, Finance and IT to build business cases for initiatives
  • Define and write business requirements for new projects and initiatives

What We Are Looking For:

  • 4-year university degree, preferably with a Bachelor’s of Commerce Degree, majoring in Marketing Management
  • Licenses (PMP, Marketo Certification, etc.) is considered an asset
  • 5+ years of digital marketing, marketing automation or marketing operations experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in the Wealth Management /Financial Services industry is highly desirable but not required
  • Experience in the SaaS-based technology sector is highly desirable

We are looking for a strategic, driven, and creative marketing mind to join our team and own all of our prospect-facing digital marketing efforts through the buyer’s journey. Reporting to the sr. director, marketing, the digital marketing manager will be responsible for overseeing all online demand generation programs for Emburse in North America.
