– Develop and implement care plans, which are individualized to meet the patient’s needs utilizing the nursing process.
– Assess patient’s health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
– Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
– May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
– Coordinate patient care and patient education according to their specific condition and the specialized unit assigned.
– Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate, direct and implement patient’s plan of care.
– Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.

Qualifications:

– Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
– BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

– One year of experience in the field or in a related area.
– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
