Digital Marketing Manager, Rogers Bank

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Manager, Digital Acquisition is responsible for leading campaigns to drive the growth of the Rogers Bank suite of financial products. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging analytics and insights to drive effective and profitable customer acquisition programs, while adhering to all regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Specific Responsibilities:

Business Planning/Forecasting

(20%)

  • Input into the development of digital forecasts and budget processes to ensure adequate and appropriate resources are budgeted/allocated to achieve business objectives
  • Input into the quarterly digital marketing planning process, with input and support from multiple stakeholders
  • Represent Rogers Bank within cross-functional marketing councils and scrum teams

Campaign Management

(40%)

  • Develop a strategic test-and-learn optimization plan, implementing best-in-class methodologies to achieve business and compliance objectives
  • Lead digital creative development with external agencies and internal brand teams to ensure messaging and tone are aligned to customer insights and personalization
  • Work with Data Insights and Credit Risk teams to create/leverage data models to ensure profitability of campaign executions
  • Work with all stakeholders (internal teams, agencies) to lead and execute ongoing targeted and awareness campaigns

Analytics/Insights

(25%)

  • Own and consistently review website and campaign analytics for all steps of the customer journey in order to identify successes, challenges, and optimization of future campaigns
  • Establish, maintain, and distribute a weekly campaign dashboard, to understand and showcase quality, efficiency, and profitability of all marketing campaigns
  • Provide insights, lessons learned, and future strategies based on campaign/program results

Partner Sourcing/Management

(15%)

  • Seek out, assess, and review external opportunities for potential partnership and affiliate agreements
  • Negotiate terms, launch, and manage partner/affiliate programs

  • Project management & Communication:

    • Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and manage project timelines, deliverables, and approvals across all key stakeholders

    • Lead war rooms for campaigns and marketing promotions; partnering with cross-functional teams to facilitate discussion, gather key information, track action items and support in post-campaign recaps

    • Marketing lead for Deployment and Restaurant Execution of promotions by developing communication plans for field to ensure flawless execution; includes developing content and presenting and utilizing internal communication tools to communicate to the field in a timely manner

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ of marketing experience in consumer retail or service marketing
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or Communications

  • Knowledge of mobile apps, loyalty reward programs, digital trends and evolving industry changes

  • Manage various email marketing campaigns, including designing templates, choosing/optimizing images and sending emails to targeted audiences.
  • Review external digital content such as web pages and marketing emails (links, spelling, design, etc.) to ensure they meet corporate standards; fixes errors and verifies fixes, and reports detailed bugs.
  • Use Asana and project management best practices to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

  • Design assets for MaRS digital channels, including social, email, web, paid ads and video, incorporating best practices and following brand guidelines.

About You:
You are proactively in-the-know about the latest trends in brand marketing, which competitors are doing it best, industry affairs and trends to ensure content is performing its best. You hold a University degree or college diploma/certificate with a focus on digital communications and/or marketing. You have 3 or more years of experience in digital marketing.

Business Group: Digital Banking & Operations Analytics is seeking a Data Strategist working on tagging web pages. The incumbent is a tagging, data analytics and insight specialist supporting digital marketing initiatives across multiple channels and platforms to help drive engagement, leads, sales and loyalty. The incumbent collaborates with internal stakeholders as well as IT to help optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and tagging strategy.

Candidate Value Proposition:

Typical Day in the Role:

  • Determine the design and implementation of digital analytics tracking, tagging, and targeting and provide teams with code for implementation
