GROUP/PROJECT INFO:
Reporting to the Director, EDB Acquisition & Customer Growth Marketing, the Marketing Manager will help execute against short term deliverables while helping define strategy for key growth segments that drive the long-term growth for the bank.
The Marketing Manager will lead the development of new strategic marketing initiatives in support of growth objectives and differentiation for Personal Banking. This individual will be a subject matter expert on core segments and will activate them as force multipliers for overall bank growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
Marketing Campaign Planning, Key Initiatives & Execution
Provide support and input into defining the strategy of individual campaigns, including establishing a learning agenda and testing plan
Manage day-to-day requirements to deliver campaigns on time with flawless execution, including planning/delivery, developing targeting/segmentation & data requirements, managing agencies to develop creative & media plans, managing stakeholder reviews/approvals & translation, incentive fulfillment
Develop and manage internal communications plans to drive employee engagement and manage change support of campaigns, particularly with front-line branch & sales teams
Partner in key initiatives and capabilities (collaborating with Lines of Business, Vendors, T&O, etc.)
Track results and outcomes of initiatives to reporting to partners, executives and executive councils
Critically review assets and provide feedback
Superb stakeholder management skills
Strategy & Marketing Intelligence
Communicate key insights and relevant facts effectively to different audiences, including crafting comprehensive and compelling narratives and proposals
Conduct research to support the planning process, including competitive intelligence, consumer insights, market trends, and other elements
Monitor best practices and competitor activities, both locally & globally as well as across industries, to understand trends, forecast developments, and identify potential solutions for growth and innovation
Budget Planning & Management:
Clear understanding of basic accounting principles
Experience managing annual marketing budget, including tracking and forecasting of all expenditures and invoices
Risk Management & Control
Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure consumer-facing materials are compliant with current rules and regulations
Manage audit requirements: ensure appropriate approvals are documented
Qualifications:
TOP SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
4+ years of experience in managing marketing campaigns
Experience in developing marketing or customer strategies, managing strategic initiatives from concept to execution
Knowledge or experience of a variety of marketing disciplines, including brand strategy, acquisition & loyalty marketing, customer relationship management programs, digital marketing, data-driven or direct marketing, marketing analytics, advertising, and market research
Experience effectively managing internal and external partners, following up on performance and making effective decisions on value of tactics
highly proficient in Excel
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Financial industry knowledge/experience also beneficial
Previous telecommunication experience

Interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships at every level of the organization
Strong written and oral presentation skills and presence

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum of undergraduate degree in marketing, business, commerce, or a related discipline
