The Frontend Marketing Engineer will build, maintain, and enhance Clearco’s corporate marketing sites. You’ll work alongside marketers, designers, product managers, and developers to amplify Clearco’s brand, drive digital experiences, drive high-quality leads, convert visitors into users, and help accelerate online registrations. The team you’ll work with plans and owns work related to website integrations into a cohesive clear.co.


What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Define, design and build custom landing pages based on internal client requirements
  • Launch new pages and microsites by translating design and content into production code
  • Propose both visual and technical enhancements to the website, then review and revise page builds as new components are created with our design team
  • Join office hours for marketers to offer realtime support with building pages and following web best practices
  • Ensure builds are following SEO best practises and continually improve on technical SEO initiatives
  • Review and publish pages built on our distributed authoring model; give technical feedback as needed to pages that need to be reworked
  • Maintain CMS API documentation for teammates and marketing team
  • The team you’ll work with plans and owns work related to website integrations into a cohesive clear.co

Technical Requirements:

  • BS or BA in Web/Interactive Design, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant experience
  • Experience publishing content to the web using modern Javascript frameworks (React, Vue, etc)
  • Strong HTML knowledge and a strong understanding of CSS principles (box model)
  • Strong knowledge of Javascript
  • Strong computer/technical skill and ability to quickly master new software
  • Demonstrated understanding of web best practices, site optimization, and SEO
  • Experience working with Figma/Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a big plus

Job Summary:
We are looking for an ambitious, creative, and energetic candidate for the role of Digital Marketing Coordinator to design and manage posts on social media platforms, run marketing campaigns regularly to increase visibility along with tracing the engagement with social media users. Our main goal is to expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content.

The responsibilities and duties associated with this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for all social media platforms
  • Build and maintain yearly editorial calendar and written guidelines to achieve the company’s objectives
  • Improve the online presence of ECC in terms of Reach and Visibility
  • Manage, Create, design, and implement contents/templates for all social media channels and publish on a daily basis/agreed interval (i.e., Images and Videos)
  • Design Monthly Newsletter to inform and engage with all ECC’s stakeholders
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives/campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that delivers quality services and client’s satisfaction.
  • Interact with the internal team members to create and review all contents & ensure consistent message
  • Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create
  • Ensure that the contents are consistent with the company’s tone and mission. Write clean, concise, well-polished copy
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges to build a more effective editorial calendar, content, campaigns.
  • Push the business to adopt better content creation practices through frequent testing of new content formats and distribution channels
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification
  • Blogging, Social Media Management experience
  • Experience in Social Media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube
  • Experience with Photoshop/Lightroom (Preferred)
  • Digital Analysis & Reporting
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking

What will your typical day look like?

As a Digital Marketing Specialist within Deloitte’s Digital Marketing team, you’ll work closely with other developers and marketers in support of Deloitte Canada’s businesses, with a focus on Ecosystems & Alliances. You will collaborate with digital marketing teammates to learn the technology for content management, email, events and registrations, social media, data/CRM and apply the learnings by delivering digital experiences. You’ll work within an agency environment, collaboratively with other marketing functions (creative/design, marketing analytics, public relations, brand and internal communications) to plan and execute marketing campaigns in support of the business needs.


About the team

The digital marketing team is part of the Marketing Technology function as Deloitte. The team also sits within our internal agency, with public relations, brand, campaign management and internal communications – working together with field marketing and the business. The digital team is very collaborative and supportive, playing an integral role in marketing communications.


Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a web developer/designer, registration management with an interest in online marketing, social media and mobile
  • Strong coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), mostly front-end programming with some back-end integration knowledge. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other enterprise CMS),
  • Marketing general digital knowledge across Email marketing tools (Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Boostrap) or event registration tools (Cvent, Attendease, Certain, Splash) or Adobe products (Analytics, Audience Manager, Target) or Social Media tools (Sprinklr, Sysomos)
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or undergraduate studies in programming, or equivalent experience, working within agency environment an asset
  • Solid understanding of UX design, working with brand guidelines, layout and design standards
  • Strong communicator and problem solver who is organized and can provide digital strategy consulting and best practices to a business audience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
