The Senior Manager, Campaign Development will focus on delivering profitable growth at Rogers Bank through the planning and development of strategic marketing programs. This position will be responsible for planning and monitoring campaigns and developing new action plans to deliver results as required. Reporting to the Director, Growth Marketing, this position is an instrumental part of the team accountable for delivering acquisition and revenue results across the entire customer lifecycle. The Senior Manager, Campaign Development will work hand-in-hand with the Channel Management, Product, Data Insights and Credit Risk Teams to deliver results throughout all digital and sales assisted channels.
What you will do:
– Lead the Campaign Development Team in the development of annual and quarterly customer lifecycle plans, underpinned by sound data modelling, best practices, and a sensible mix of channels and tactics. This includes having a good command of the external marketplace and consumer mindset, as well as audience segments and cohorts from the Rogers and Rogers Bank customer base who are eligible candidates for cross selling and direct marketing efforts
– Cultivate a detailed understanding of current and prospective clients. Understand key consumer segments so that marketing efforts are effectively targeting and reaching the most attractive customers
– Work with Rogers/fido/chatr Marketing and Product Teams to support the integration of Bank into Go-to-Market (GTM) plans and sourcing cross promotion offers
– Lead the GTM strategy for new programs in collaboration with cross functional teams and ensure a smooth hand-off to the Channel Management Team for execution and optimization of campaigns
– Represent Rogers Bank at the Rogers Marketing Governance forums to seek alignment in optimizing customer journeys/moments of truth through A/B Testing, offer management, marketing automation, while leveraging customer/channel/industry insights
– In conjunction with the Product Team, stay informed/educated on competitive landscape, market conditions and consumer insights to inform recommendations for quarterly plans
– Work closely with Brand, Digital, and Channels teams to drive intent-full calls, traffic, visits to develop a stronger path to purchase/conversion funnel and increase lead capture
– Utilize measurement tools to determine success of marketing plans and offers, and present back to the Product Team business cases for future campaigns
– Input into the development of forecasting/budgeting process to ensure adequate and appropriate resources are budgeted/allocated for to achieve business objectives
– Ensure that all marketing programs (pre-campaign handoff to the Channel Management Team) are consistent with approved brand positioning and has been reviewed and approved by the Bank’s and RCI Legal departments for adherence to applicable laws and regulations
What you must bring:
– A love for developing marketing campaigns and an insatiable need to blaze new trails that engage, inform, and convert prospects into valued customers
– 6 to 10+ years marketing experience (planning and execution)
– Experience with journey and data analytics, business case development, marketing automation tools and marketing within an agile environment
– Strong understanding of both Sales Assisted and Digital channels and how to pull growth levers to reinforce and measure positive outcomes
– Proven ability to capture, read, and understand marketing performance data, and to distill disparate information into clear insights that will guide future decisions
– High level of attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills

Why is this role important?
To help maintain our existing data lake and further scale our Business Intelligence practise, we are seeking a Big Data Engineer to join our team on a six-month contract. You will help manage our existing Azure Databricks environment and create new ETL pipelines, gaining access to mentorship, new technologies, and insights into working at one of the biggest digital companies in the country.

We are open to qualified candidates within Canada, but the CBC’s BI team is based in Toronto with much of the big data engineering team in Montreal.
The Business Intelligence team is connected to every facet of the organization as a strategic partner, data solutions provider, and catalyst supporting the CBC’s product, content, and operational decision-making with data.
Cross-functional and collaborative by nature, we work to ensure that objectives, strategies, and tactics across all departments in the organization are aligned and delivering value to Canadians. As a result, we work closely with various front and backend product teams; Content Units including News and Local Services; Customer Success; Marketing and Media Solutions; as well as our BI counterparts at Radio-Canada.
As a Big Data Engineer on our BI team, you will play a hands-on role in a major shift towards data-driven decision-making at an organization that’s eager to use data to drive the growth of audience-facing products such as Digital Publishing ( , , etc.), (Live and On-Demand Video) and (Digital Audio).
Our data engineering stack consists of a data lake in the Azure cloud (namely Azure Databricks and Delta Lake) as well as Airflow with a smaller footprint in the Google Cloud Platform. Our primary languages are SQL and Python.
