What is the opportunity?

RBC Ventures is hiring a Digital Creative Designer to join one of our ventures to develop marketing assets, and generate creative digital solutions across marketing and product. This person will join a scaling venture in a fast-paced environment, and will work directly with the venture’s marketing and product teams. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and has strong time management skills.

What will you do?

  • Design marketing assets, including websites, social media campaigns, digital publications, videos and animations, out-of-home, and other online and offline marketing material
  • Leverage existing brand guidelines to prepare and deliver assets
  • Work closely with the product and marketing teams to ensure that brand specifications are implemented accurately
  • Generate innovative design solutions that effectively meet venture needs
  • Participate in and initiate design review sessions with key stakeholders, gaining consensus and approval on design artifacts
  • Rationalize solutions and effectively communicate ideas and designs
  • Take feedback, iterate quickly, and continue to strive for best results
  • Work with designers, production artists, writers, developers, and others to execute campaigns and digital solutions
  • Modify existing or previously created graphics with new/updated information based on new findings, research and trends

Must Haves

  • 3+ years of experience working in digital and marketing agencies or creative teams where paid and organic marketing strategies were the priority
  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial) or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong aesthetic skills and an understanding of graphic design core principles with respect to typography, layout/composition, photography, iconography, etc.
  • A portfolio of web design, marketing design, and production design
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, or similar tools
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas and rationales

What is the opportunity?

The SD team is hiring a Digital Creative Designer to join one of our ventures. This person will be asked to develop marketing assets, own, design and refine brand identity assets, and generate creative digital solutions in support of a venture’s business objectives. This person will join a scaling venture, work in a fast-paced environment, and partner with the venture’s marketing and product teams.

What will you do?

  • Conceptualize and create marketing assets, including websites, digital and social media campaigns, digital publications, videos and animations, and other marketing material
  • Develop and/or leverage existing brand guidelines to prepare and deliver assets
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the venture product and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with designers, production artists, writers, developers, and others to execute campaigns and digital solutions

Site Merchandising

  • Responsible for the merchandising of the Dyson Outlet on dysoncanada.ca. Including, content briefing, launch and maintenance of product content, as well as use data to identify merchandising opportunities.

Digital Creative Support

  • Work closely with creative and marketing teams to develop digital creative for website
  • Set-up and manage creative assets across the site, including Homepage, Category Pages and Promotional pages.

Site Maintenance & Optimizations

  • Monitor data in collaboration with eCommerce analyst to understand web performance and customer interaction with site content, to identify business opportunities and risks. Execute content optimizations based on data analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy of all creative assets, linking, promotions and product attribution for the site and within areas of focus.
  • Contribute to site health projects such as accessibility, SEO hygiene, site search optimizations, and optimize performance through content updates.

About You:

  • 1-2 years work experience in site merchandising, digital marketing, or working on a transactional ecommerce website.

We are currently looking for creators to join our Content Creation team for a 3 month period, with an opportunity to extend their contract following a successful trial period. From Day 1 as a content creator with Xrozs Group, you will join a diverse marketing program that is designed to help you develop the leadership and creative skills needed to become a future social media marketing leader.

  • Host social media live streaming events.
