Responsibilities:


A Day in the Life

  • Manage the onboarding of new digital marketing clients
  • Consult with dealership clients on service marketing strategy
  • Plan and execute successful marketing campaigns using Customer Connect or other third-party tools as required
  • Collaborate and direct creative design for digital assets as needed
  • Provide ongoing account management support to dealership clients
  • Create weekly updates and monthly ROI reporting for marketing programs

Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing (40%)

  • Develop, execute, and manage digital strategies and marketing campaigns such as Facebook ads, Google ads (remarketing, shopping, video, etc.), SEM, display, social media, cross-media/3rd party advertising, and SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
  • Monitor campaign budget and performance across all the digital marketing channels.
  • Lead digital content marketing initiatives, including the development of collateral, maintenance of the website blog, and upkeep of existing content marketing assets.
  • Manage the entirety of the website experience, ensuring promotions, products, and content are added to the site as required.
  • Seek opportunities to increase engagement and conversion rates with enhanced website content/design. Use methodical A/B testing to test and validate ideas.
  • Liaise with other team members and departments to brainstorm, develop, and implement digital marketing strategies.

Website Management (40%)

  • Support in the final stages in the development, testing, and launch of a new website that integrates content, e-commerce, and LMS functionalities. The new website is being built on the Kentico CMS, with integrations to Moodle LMS and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
  • Build and manage marketing funnels, personas, automation, and A/B testing on the new website. Assist with populating products, content, and other digital assets.
  • Build and create product/content website landing pages and optimize the user experience
  • Set up performance tracking in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to facilitate easy management of website analytics and accurate tracking of key goals and conversions.

Analytics and Reporting (20%)

  • Monitor website analytics to understand site and user behaviour and identify opportunities to improve the experience.
  • Create monthly marketing reports that summarize the performance of our website, ad placements, marketing initiatives, email campaigns, and social campaigns, and share suggestions for how we can adapt and optimize based on the data.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly self-motivated, efficient, logical and creative Digital Delivery Team Member (DDT-M) who will work on a digitally focused portfolio within the Informa Connect business.

The portfolio will focus on a growing number of small to large events and digital products that are exclusively online. The role itself will revolve around a comprehensive list of responsibilities that occur pre, during and post each event from a planning and operations perspective.


Administration (75%)

  • Data capture and analytics – Undertake all necessary event admin tasks, including incident response plans, sustainability worksheets, accreditation administration and providing data for post event meetings, uploading Video On Demand onto the virtual event platform, provide Sponsorship (or data delivery team) with post event data reports, circulate final attendee lists, provide accounts with no show/no pay, list of VIP no shows to VIP manager.
  • Prepare and upload FAQ’s onto Connect Me for each Virtual event.
  • Book staffing space in the office (as necessary) during the live virtual event days
  • Continually review processes and practice to eliminate obsolete workflows and tools with little customer value or ROI, validating with Connect’s central leads.

Project Management/Delivery (25%)

  • Assist the on the day delivery of the digital event
  • Manage Slido polls and notifications and send questions to moderator of live room
  • Provide Crisp/helpdesk support on the Connect Me platform
  • Add VIPs to closed door sessions if required (last minute VIP requests)
  • Log video asset numbers for each session and update the agenda.
  • Update platform as required – yesterday’s poll results etc.
  • Create and issue all event notifications.
  • Manage the speaker green room/s and any other sessions (workshops etc.) that need to be hosted/moderated.
  • General event trouble-shooter
  • Share in-event behavioral patterns with wider virtual events team (SPEX, marketing etc.)
  • During the event provide updates as needed on session attendance and engagement for sponsor assets/areas as requested (end of each day)
  • Action IRP plan and process (if required)

Qualifications

  • 1+ years professional experience in the B2B Digital Service and/ or Media Industry or equivalent
  • Candidate must have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, excellent written and verbal skills, extremely organized
  • Ability to work with various teams and be able to work under pressure when last-minute tasks arise. Previous webinar experience is very helpful to this individual.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit who is ready to take on an exciting challenge and is willing to take the initiative in the execution of virtual events.

What will your typical day look like?

As a Digital Marketing Specialist within Deloitte’s Digital Marketing team, you’ll work closely with other developers and marketers in support of Deloitte Canada’s businesses, with a focus on Ecosystems & Alliances. You will collaborate with digital marketing teammates to learn the technology for content management, email, events and registrations, social media, data/CRM and apply the learnings by delivering digital experiences. You’ll work within an agency environment, collaboratively with other marketing functions (creative/design, marketing analytics, public relations, brand and internal communications) to plan and execute marketing campaigns in support of the business needs.


About the team

The digital marketing team is part of the Marketing Technology function as Deloitte. The team also sits within our internal agency, with public relations, brand, campaign management and internal communications – working together with field marketing and the business. The digital team is very collaborative and supportive, playing an integral role in marketing communications.

You are someone with:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a web developer/designer, registration management with an interest in online marketing, social media and mobile
  • Strong coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), mostly front-end programming with some back-end integration knowledge. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other enterprise CMS),
  • Marketing general digital knowledge across Email marketing tools (Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Boostrap) or event registration tools (Cvent, Attendease, Certain, Splash) or Adobe products (Analytics, Audience Manager, Target) or Social Media tools (Sprinklr, Sysomos)
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or undergraduate studies in programming, or equivalent experience, working within agency environment an asset
  • Solid understanding of UX design, working with brand guidelines, layout and design standards
  • Strong communicator and problem solver who is organized and can provide digital strategy consulting and best practices to a business audience

AsteroidX is a high-growth, Toronto-based startup that specializes in Amazon Advertising. We work with large Fortune 500 brands and high-volume Amazon Sellers to manage their advertising campaigns, conduct review calls and scale their sales.

What We’re Looking For:

  • In this role, you will work with existing clients to run review-calls to communicate data and analytics related to their Amazon advertising campaigns
  • You will have a team of analytics experts who give you the data to present to clients, tell a story about the results, and negotiate their investment with Asteroid X
  • To be successful in this role, you will be able to find patterns and draw conclusions from data sets and be a great communicator to tell the story
  • You have an understanding of how marketing and PPC advertising works, and can quantify results and ROI
  • You are a great negotiator, enjoy a client-facing role, and are a strong verbal communicator
  • You will have an aggressive willingness to “go to bat” for customers

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Create, manage, and optimize Amazon PPC ad campaigns for customers
  • Answer questions & communicate with our B2B customers re: strategy, objectives, KPIs
  • Organize and maintain a portfolio of consumer brands/customers
  • Drive real revenue for companies around the world, making upwards of $10m/year. You will help them bring in even more sales!

Requirements / Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA or BSc — preferably in fields like data analytics, engineering, math, marketing, business, economics, commerce, or computer science. These fields have the logical reasoning we’re looking for
  • We provide a 5 week training course where you’re paid at a rate of $14.25/hr (normal salary starts after week 5), concluding with Amazon’s Advertising Certification

Compensation

Campaign Strategic Managers start from $50-55k. Hit clear metrics, and you can be at $55k and then $60k within 12 months. The path to $65k is clear and doable in 1.5 years. 2 weeks of paid vacation after the first 12 months of employment.
