SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Marketing team partners with our business partners to design world class marketing strategies and campaigns that deliver on business objectives, drive shareholder value, and customer loyalty. Our team acts as consultants on all aspects of marketing including influencing the business strategy, leading the development and execution of marketing plans, and delivering marketing solutions consistent with marketing standards and strategies.

On a typical day at work, you will be expected to:

  • Partner with the business to develop omni-channel strategies to drive chequing acquisition
  • Create integrated marketing campaigns that meet business and marketing strategies and objectives
  • Translate marketing objectives and consumer insights into communication strategy (benefit, offer, reason to believe “RTB” or proof points)
  • Work with marketing partners and business units to develop appropriate customer insights for marketing briefs
  • Evaluates creative campaigns and media strategies based on their impact on customer behaviour
  • Understand role of different media options and their impact on achieving marketing objectives, and oversee flawless execution of tactical media and creative plans
  • Lead/interface and contribute to cross-functional marketing teams to deliver all elements of campaigns and marketing solutions including, targeted and channel marketing
  • Develop marketing strategies and plans; understand market and growth drivers, create a vision of market, channel, and segment potential, develop value propositions and proof points that further our competitive advantage, and translate business strategies into marketing plans
  • Deliver and monitor results; ensure stated objectives are delivered on plan (monitor/ early indicators) and where required, take corrective actions to achieve targets
  • Analyze past results and makes recommendations to maximize return on investment
  • Evaluate effectiveness of in market activity – Post Implementation Review (including recommendations)
  • Tell our Story – effectively communicate the results and sell the value of marketing. Make simple and concise recommendations leveraging data insights to drive action.

Job Requirements:
Undergraduate degree

  • 5+ years of marketing experience preferably with integrated campaign expertise (digital, social, TV, OOH, radio, targeted marketing, etc.) and media expertise to drive customer acquisition
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and strategy development
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
  • Combination of executional and strategic marketing
  • Targeted and paid media campaigns

The Senior Web Analytics Specialist will play a key role at DRVN Intelligence Inc., while we create and maintain industry-leading quality and efficiency of service and software delivery. The Senior Web Analytics Specialist will play a role spanning both Marketing Intelligence and Data Systems workflows, responsible for supporting the delivery of comprehensive end-to-end solutions for DRVN Intelligence’s clients.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Head of Digital Ecosystems, collaborating with the Data Systems team, in guiding clients’ development of their digital systems, through the practical utilization of data and strategy. The selected candidate will bring a strong base of Google Analytics expertise to the team.

The Senior Web Analytics Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day client relations and liaison with internal teams on all assigned DRVN Intelligence Inc. deliverables. The incumbent will be a key member of a central team responsible for collaborating with all DRVN Intelligence team members as it pertains to planning, executing and maintaining client projects. The individual will use their expertise and best practices to support the team in providing efficiencies, and superior quality to every deliverable. The Senior Web Analytics Specialist will be responsible for maintaining positive internal and external relationships, further building on our strong corporate reputation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Technical point of contact with client or partners (eg. Google or Adobe)
  • Lead, execute and support both internal and client team members as it relates to:

    • Data collection through design and implementation of tracking codes (GTM, Google Analytics 360, Salesforce, Adobe, custom scripts)
    • Analytics setup, reporting and custom database feeds (GA360, Adobe Analytics, CM, DV360, Salesforce, Data Studio, Tableau, etc.)
    • Data collection through design and implementation of tracking code (Google Tag Manager, GA360, Salesforce, Adobe, custom scripts)
    • Web Analytics reporting and dashboard building
  • Help on business pitches that are Web analytics related (build slides and estimate time/effort)
  • Stay involved in the majority of technical client communications, prioritizing your time based on urgency and importance
  • Collaborate with, support, and work closely with the Data Systems business units to ensure efficient workflow, and realize cross-functional opportunities and enhancements
  • Embody as a key subject matter expert for all things relating to to the collection and application of web analytics data, advising team members in related discussions and bringing wider technology and industry trends and changes to the attention of the wider team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2-3 years of Web Analytics implementation experience in Google Analytics (primary) or Adobe Analytics (secondary)
  • Experience with Tag Management Systems like Google Tag Manager and Adobe Launch/DTM
  • Familiarity with marketing tracking pixels such as Facebook pixel, Google gtag and floodlight tags
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide clear guidance and support for advanced problem solving and system design for enterprise-level clients, aiding the evolution of their digital practices
  • Understanding of digital ecosystems including online data collection, cloud systems and analytics tools (Google stack, Facebook, AWS, Salesforce, Adobe Suite etc.) is an asset
